  1. Another great update, the new airspace display is awesome and much less cluttered. Thank you to Michael Schuster. I also like the new airport trails. However, I have noticed that they are causing a lot of map lag. This is probably my fault because I have them set to 50,000 (I like seeing my history), so i've had to turn the new style off and go back to the old dashed line. I wonder if in future you might consider a kind of "hybrid mode" where the current flight / selected logbook entry have the more detailed trail. Just a thought, highly appreciate your hard and amazing work for this free app.
  2. Hi, Firstly, I'm really loving this program and it seems to be the best flight planner/moving map that I've used thus far. However, I've been trying to use the flightplan as a navlog and I haven't discovered a way to have the wind information in the navlog. LNM has a course to fly but doesn't have a heading. I'd like to do a VFR flight (GPS) using little navmap but it's difficult without the wind information. Is there a way to include headings in the flightplan/navlog? Thanks.
  3. You should try out SimLauncher. It's a great tool that err launchers your sim. It shows you gate radius and warns you if it's less than your aircraft's wingspan and other neat features. Much better to use than menu in FSX.
  4. And touchscreen entry is just so much easier, no more rolling over your waypoint. Although Rob and Sean of RealAir don't have much regard for my nerves. Every day I make the pilgrimage to their site only to be disappointed. I'm sure when it's released it will be amazeballs.
  5. I go to their website every day only to be tortured. It's especially cruel that their banner is V2 Released. Talk about anticipoitment. The Duke is my favourite aircraft and in the Turbine form it finally reaches it's true potential. I will probably buy this one too, i'm a sucker for turbine aircraft.
  6. It was super easy. 1. Backup aircraft config. 2. Locate weight and balance position, copy the longitudinal, lateral and vertical positions 3. Paste the info in the fuel section and modify it to match the tanks already listed ( you can only call your tanks a limited number of names, the sdk has more info. Aux is recommended for it to feed correctly 4. Increase the Gross Weight under Weight and Balance to take more fuel. (The Duke can only take 2400 pounds of load and most of this taken up at full tanks anyway. I gave myself an extra 500 pounds. This sometimes happens on Ferry flights, 110% is 'relatively' easy to obtain under a Special Flight Certificate. If your aircraft has digital fuel gauges the additional fuel should show up, analog will just as full. Here's a link with examples that I based my work on. It seems like he never finished his flight.
  7. I know it's crazy. I think i'm just gonna do Monterrey Bay to Hilo and wing it.
  8. Haven't done it yet. It will be a brand new Beech Duke Turbine V2.0 just waiting for it to be finished at the factory. Hopefully not far off.
  9. Solved. I set them as Aux tanks rather than Center tanks and they now feed in the correct order. :-)
  10. I'm thinking about doing a delivery of a brand new aircraft West Coast USA to Sydney. I've figured that I can create two tanks in the passenger cabin to give me an extra 80 gal (that's all she will take with a pilot.) I'm stuck how to get FSX to actually feed from them. Ideally, I'd like them to feed automatically into my wing tanks? Any other way is fine as well. I have FSUIPC. Also, does anyone know of a better routing than direct Hawaii. I can get 2000nm out of it with the tanks, but that's not exactly legal. Is there a shorter route going North or South? Once i'm at Hawaii it's easy days. Thanks.
  11. You bought from Garmin or a reseller? I only have an option to ship to a US address.
  12. I believe it's on their long term goal list, but it's unlikely to happen in the short or medium term.
  13. Does anyone know of a re seller for Oceania? I've turned up nothing. It makes it a bit pointless if you can't buy the worlwide version if you don't live in the states.
  14. Does anyone have any thoughts on the products? It looks nice, but is there any meat to it?
  15. Australia YHOX - Sold off to developers YPEC - Closed YBMC - YBSU that's the only ones i know of.
  16. PMDG Time is still better than Valve Time or FSLabs time.
  17. Maybe just maybe. We might see this by 2017.
  18. Please... here's my credit card. How would the touch screen interface go. The PMDG checklist is a bit odd, would it suffer from the same problem? I haven't bought the F1 gauges yet.
  19. Another happy user of FS Real Time here. Highly recommended. Amazingly flexible too.
  20. A lot of the complaints from TS'ers is that the quality isn't very good of these addons and dovetail leaves gamebreaking bugs in. Flight1 has quality addons that are well worth the price.
  21. Guys, I don't know if there has been posted, you can get the best of both worlds with this simple tool. It will put any windowed game into borderless windowed mode. just launch FSX in windowed mode, win +F6 and you're good to go. Make sure to enable the hotkey in the options.
  22. Sadly not. It's because of the limitations of the FSX weather engine that PMDG haven't done a weather radar before. The reason we have one is because the genies over at HiFi figured a way around these limitations.
