  1. Hi, Might be a little off topic to talk about FSLabs pricing policy in a topic related to the Beta testing of the PMDG 747v3!
  2. Hello, Welcome to that forum. I'm not an expert either but: 1- Yes it is. The installation is pretty straightforward. Regarding configurations, you can setup your hardware devices directly through FSX default controls (and it is advised) and there are many keys assignable directly via a menu in the CDU. 2- You can buy it directly from the PMDG website (which I would recommend as it will easier to handle service pack and updates and you will have only one entity to deal with for support matters). You can however buy it also on Aerosoft website. 3- It is a difficult to answer that question because all PMDG's addons are very complex and come with a learning curve and it also greatly depends on your taste. I would say that the T7 is maybe one of the easiest because one of the most automated. If you forget about the failure system, it may be the quickest to start with because you can focus on flying and let the systems of the aircraft take care of themselves. However, you can get in the air pretty quickly for a visual pattern around an airport, but if you want ot perform an IFR flight, you will have to get your hands in the FMS and in the manuals anyway. I guess it could be considered also the closest to the Airbus among the aircrafts proposed by PMDG in her philosophy despite a lot of differences. Hope it helps. By the way, one of the rules in PMDG's forum is to sign all your posts with your full names (either manually or in your signature, it is up to you).
  3. It looks a bit strange that the "gauge00=", "gauge01=" and "gauge02=" don't point to the full location of the gauge. But it is P3D and I'm not sure whether this could be the issue. Bryan, can you please advise?
  4. Ok Regarding the [Window20] and [Window21], I mean: [Window20] size_mm=1069, 51 window_size= 0.5567, 0.0425 window_pos=0.00,0.05 visible=0 ident=1000 zorder=100 sizeable=1 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGXRB\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXRB!FS2Crew_MainPanel, 0,0,1069,51 gauge01=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGXRB\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXRB!FS2Crew_Audio, 20,20,5,5 gauge02=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGXRB\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXRB!FS2Crew_VoiceMain, 10,10,5,5 [Window21] size_mm=402, 639 window_size= 0.2093, 0.5325 position=3 visible=0 ident=1001 zorder=105 sizeable=1 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGXRB\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXRB!FS2Crew_SecondaryPanel, 0,0,402,639
  5. Ok. Can you please confirm that in the "panel" file there are the two [Window20] and [Window21] sections? Also, can you check that the key you have assigned to the autofeather arm/off is not used anywhere else for the NGX? And silly question (sorry), are you sure you have enabled Fs2crew for the NGX in the FSX config panel?
  6. Yes. It is in the "panel" file, isn't it? So it looks fine. If you launch a flight with the NGX and press the key you have assigned to Autofeather arm/off, then you should see the Fs2crew main panel popping up.
  7. Hi, The text file "panel" is the panel.cfg. Only the extension is hidden as a Windows option. In this file that you can open with the block note, you should find the following lines: [Window Titles] ... window20=FS2Crew Main Panel window21=FS2Crew Secondary Panel And lower in the file, you should the corresponding definitions of these windows: [Window20] size_mm=1069, 51 window_size= 0.5567, 0.0425 window_pos=0.00,0.05 visible=0 ident=1000 zorder=100 sizeable=1 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGXRB\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXRB!FS2Crew_MainPanel, 0,0,1069,51 gauge01=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGXRB\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXRB!FS2Crew_Audio, 20,20,5,5 gauge02=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGXRB\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXRB!FS2Crew_VoiceMain, 10,10,5,5 [Window21] size_mm=402, 639 window_size= 0.2093, 0.5325 position=3 visible=0 ident=1001 zorder=105 sizeable=1 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGXRB\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXRB!FS2Crew_SecondaryPanel, 0,0,402,639 Can you check that?
  8. Ok, I'll check next time I do a flight with the T7.
  9. Hello, As far as I know, you cannot change what is displayed on the upper EICAS regarding engines values. However, you can see these values on the lower EICAS by selecting ENG on the EICAS control panel. You may confuse with the NGX where you can have all the values on the upper EICAS by pressing twice the ENG button.
  10. Hi, Fs2crew is link to the NGX. So what you won't find the program externally anywhere. What you have to do is start P3D, launch a flight with the NGX and then, if you press the key assigned to autofeather arm/off, you will see a popup panel appears which is the Fs2crew main panel. This is why we send you to check if you have assign a key to that feature in the P3D menu. Now, if when you press that key while you are in the cockpit of the NGX, chances are that the panel.cfg of the NGX have not been correctly updated for some reason, that's why I gave references to other topics were we exchanged on that matter. Send me your panel.cfg by pm, I'm gonna check it for you if you want.
  11. Hi, Please use the search function, this question has already been asked! And the answer is most likely yes, if/when Flightsimlabs releases a good SDK, which has not been the case yet.
  12. Hello, Autofeather arm/off is a assignable key in the fsx commands menu. You should really have a look at the manuals and tutorials as Bryan said, they explain with screenshots what to do.
  13. Hi, Maybe because the cruise altitude you entered is too high to be reached if complying to the restriction 6000ft at OCK. The departure alitude restriction at EGLL extend quite far from the airport. For short flights it may impede the ability to climb to the cruise altitude.
  14. Ok sorry. Please have a look at these two topics and see if it is related to your issue: http://www.avsim.com/topic/491640-no-panel/ http://www.avsim.com/topic/491851-pressing-c-key-doesnt-bring-up-the-panel-anymore/
  15. Hello, The Fs2crew reboot is for the PMDG 737 NGX and doesn't work with the default fsx 737. So it's normal you cannot find anything when you start the default 737. What do you mean by #'s ?
  16. Hi, You may search for it on internet: type "Convert mach number to TAS". An exemple of the result returned: http://www.hochwarth.com/misc/AviationCalculator.html
  17. Hello, I'm not really I have understood what you are asking but in case, you can find all your installers up-to-date in the page "Completed orders" of you account on the Fs2crew main website.
  18. Hi, What are you using for the weather? What is the SAT? What is you thrust setting? (Off course thrust ref is maintained and all flaps, speedbrake and gear are retracted?).
  19. Hi, You can set the sound level to 0 for the PA so that you don't hear them anymore.
  20. You have to press on the SEC button, which will pop up the Secondary panel. The PF button is the middle one on the right.
  21. Hello, can you post a screenshot of the overhead panel with a close view on the pressurization panel?
  22. Hello, Silly question: Are going to the Preflight Event page (press PF button) and "Run the Preflight events"?
  23. You are welcome. However, your full names must appear at the end of each of your posts even if your forum name is your real name. This can be achieved either in creating a signature in your forum profile or writing it manually whichever you prefer.
  24. Hello, Once both engines are started, you set APU bleeds to OFF, PACKS to auto and isolation valve to AUTO. (and you turn the APU off).
