  1. WOW, excellent paint. On first glance, I thought the first two were photos of a Real World aircraft. NICE WORK!!!
  2. UP Kantega XC paraglider738NGX(repeat as necessary to add up to 5)
  3. I've changed my aileron_effectiveness from 1.0 to 0.5 to mellow out the over sensative lateral contral I get with my Saitek Yoke. For those interested in giving it a try, its located in the aircraft.cfg file under [flight_tuning].
  4. "The trainee should ask the captain what is the only AFDS mode that can control Thrust, Pitch and Roll at the same time !I wonder would he know the answer ?"One should take extreme care in challenging the instructor, it seldom turns out for the better!
  5. MCP commands are programmable in the CDU and FSX. Whichever you use, make sure you delete the other, conflicting, assignments.
  6. Thanks Kevin, I will try it as well.Nikita, if you set it to anything over 90 you will be turning in the oposite direction.
  7. I ran into this problem at some point in the past. I am running EZCA and through tial and error I found that my seat position was ever-so slightly too far forward. When I moved myself back all worked fine.
  8. I concur! Though not a real world pilot, I do remember my military days when I flew observation in KC135 and B52's and control input was quite rapid and far more extreme than aircraft response would indicate. You got me thinking about this, and I had been meaning to address it for some time, so I opened aircraft.cfg and found that changing the "aileron_effectiveness = 1.0" to "aileron_effectiveness = 0.5" under [flight_tuning]. It made a world of difference. When I have more time I'll tweek it more to my actual flight preference.
  9. I used to use 'Tool Tips' to get the trim as close to what the CDU says as possible, but after contemplation, realized that real world crews don't have such details in there settings. I turned off 'Tool Tips' and just set the trim as close as I could visually with the analog indicator on the stab wheel and I have never had a problem attributable to stab trim being off the mark. After takeoff, when I've established a steady asscent, I will adjust the trim to remove pressure from my control column and engage the Autopilot.
  10. I've only one flight since SP1b but had to 'ESC' the flight when my pushback would not end and I couldn't stop it any other way. My restart directly after this went fine with the pushback and flight, though I was interrupted prior to landing so can't speak on that leg of the flight. Sorry I don't have a solution and I do remember this was a problem others experienced back in original release time frame.
  11. I prefer to stay in the cockpit as an enhancement to my flight experience and don't care about views or sounds outside of such.
  12. If you have seperate engine throttle controls, ensure your engine thrust is even.
  13. Thanks for the reply. I am using the stock configuration, but I'm sure at some time in the past i've changed this setting, just can't remember if/where it is configured.
  14. I have my MCP knobs assigned to my yoke buttons. When I change settings, e.g. Altitude, the dial spins way too fast. Where is the setting to slow down the dials rate of change/acceleration?
  15. Sorry to be completeley off subject, MMC, how did you change the Front Panel ID plate to "G-VABA"?
  16. Have you checked the PMDG Performance Manager?
  17. I was able to get 'button push' functionality out of most of the Multi-Panel with the SPAD utility, but I never got any LED readouts. I too had the trim, flaps, and CMD Master functionality. Since all of these switches/knobs/buttons are readily available on the front panel MCP in the NGX, I now prefer to just reach up and manually initiate.
  18. After much monkeying around, I finally solved this. I believe it had something to do with my EZCA (EZDOC) setup. I originally installed the EZCA installer, EZCA-Setup-1.15.exe, realized I couldn’t configure it, and then ran the EZdokCamera.exe. I believe this created a cockpit view that set me too far back in the seat creating an invisible barrier that would not allow me to interact with the front panel controls. I could swing my view around and affect the overhead and center isle controls, just not the front panel.I uninstalled EZCA, ran the EZdokCamera.exe first. This authenticated me with the store I bought EZCA from and initiated the application installer. All works fine now.
  19. Sounds like a light saber challenge.
  20. Great customer support. Ryan sent me an email within15 hours of my trouble ticket. Activation is resolved.Thank you Ryan and the entire PMDG team!!!
  21. I built a new computer so I have a new installation of the NGX. After installation of NGX, both with, and without SP1, I don't have mouse-over controls in the VC. Overhead panel controls work fine and control wheel assignments work on VC systems. Any ideas?
  22. Just put together a new computer. When I start FSX with the NGX I get the "The activation of the fulfillment is denied..." error message. I submitted a trouble ticket, anyone know how long it takes for this to be resolved?
  23. I've been running on Athlon X2 at 3.0Ghz and 6gigs DDR2 RAM for some time now. I had to scale back some of the FSX settings a bit but it was certainly flyable.
