A fresh install for P3Dv2.4, and Global, Global Vectors has left me with a wonderful sim. At least on my machine, these releases from these developers keep getting better and better.

Just checked again here. FSUIPC, LINDA are all working fine for me.

What I usually do, when looking at the size of overwrite installations, is simply a complete fresh install. Maybe I am just the odd one out, but I run a pretty lean P3D. I have the ability to be picky with my addons, and REX, Orbx, Majestic, Aerosoft, ASN, FSUIPC are pretty much the only things I have. Complete reinstalls have always worked better for me.

I thought I read posts saying that the latest out works fine? Only Simconnect.exe may have to be re-ran in some cases to make it function.

It must not be loading from the EXL when the Sim starts is the only thing I can think of. Try to add those lines and see if it auto-starts.

You have to cycle every once in a while from virtual to not virtual A couple times.

Wow. Just wow. It is amazing. I have done so much flying, and I think the "poor" are not even allowed to look at those areas! Lol...I have never even seen, nor known anything like that could be on some of the aircraft I have been on! A380 included!!!

I find it amusing that everyone is bashing Microsoft, yet I would bet that more than 90% of their software comes from them, or a sister company. The tech world is pretty small guys. Kinda like oil. Also,the comment "blatantly ripped off the Windows 8.1 design" is pretty funny. It is after all, their tech, their design. They are allowed to "use" features if they want. Hell, Windows and every version of it is a "blatant rip off of the Windows design". A company does not have to reinvent the wheel to change, update, modify their products. Almost everything in succession that we use is a blatant ripoff of what came before it.

Wow! Is there more like this? I know it is probably years off, but look at the lighting? The mesh. Imagine that being a simulator with aircraft addons we have now? Imagine flight dynamics being introduced!

Also, get familiar with using the phrase..."What is it doing now?" lol But honestly. I would take your time, do some reading from the volumes listed above and enjoy it. On the Right MFD, you can select like stated to have checklists and an FO. This will do 90% of the flight for you. It really is a fun aircraft to learn. There is a lot of tech in these planes.....but it is easy to learn. I came from nothing but Boeing addons, and I have converted over unless someone comes out with a B717! The logic of an Airbus is just awesome. Also a lot of youtube videos. For the autopilot though, everyone is right. They are three way knobs. Push them in to give all control aways, pull them to you to take control and then turn them to command.

Would you be willing to share these tweaks? As with cfgs and coding I am pretty ignorant in doing it myself...

Can the flight dynamics, like the cfg. be copied from one like plane to another? Like the Flight1 Pc-12 to the Carenado PC-12? I have always felt that the Carenado planes, while good in their own right, were way to twitchy.

Well, Just got the activation for my account over there. Going to look around tomorrow and see if I can read up on maybe someone else having the same issue as me. I think I will have to give up though, as I read that EagleSoft does not support this bird in P3D. I hope the get around to their Jets in the future, as now they are doing the GA stuff for P3D. The Citation X, while "legacy" still has more legs than some of the most current birds out there. I will ignore pretty VCs any day for a good system aircraft. I did notice one thing, and it makes me think that something, like a dll. or xml. entry is not registering correct, because at first I thought it was the mipmap business, and how some addons don't like it. So when I went to disable and went back to VC, for a split second the display lit up with some text, "Development" or something wrote on it, and then went back blank. Another reason I think it is because of P3D is that the folder when I had FSX on the desktop with all the documents to read wont open for me. It is a blank white texture, and when I do to open it, it says something like it can't find the location for Flight Simulator XYZ.....never seen that before....

I will be upgrading on Wed.

All the main displays. The big ones are black. The FMS, Radio stack and all gauges all load fine. All buttons seem to click fine, and when I flip the avionics switch, everything turns off and on except those. Really sucks as the ES Citation is the best bizjet out there, and after taking such a long break I was really looking forward to using it again.

Not sure why people think this is so hard. You buy an update. A major update, much like PMDG and everyone else does. Its not just a facelift. If you own the A320/321, you get the A318/319 at a discount and also the updated A320/321 when it is available next month or so for less than a single airport.....simple.

They did explain to the public why the wait. Go read on their forums. It will take about 2 seconds to figure out it is their system they use to release and make payments, and not done to upset you personally. Good things come to those who wait. And at the very least, it is a simulation, and not a organ donation you are being forced to wait for.

I would, but I have not been able to log in to the forums for over a year now :( Well. Just re-registered again. Not sure about those forums, but my email or account has issues. I think this is the third time I have had to register since I owned this aircraft. Just have to wait for them to confirm it now.

Normal, with UAC off and all. Like suggested by EagleSoft. Also, then completely uninstalled, and then installed in Safemode/virus scan disabled/migration tool, no migration tool. Every single thing works on this plane except those 3 or 4 main displays.

Anyone ran across everything working except the MFDs? For some reason, the large displays are the only thing I can't seem to get anything out of. Other than that, it is running fine.
