Well I am having these issues now msfs loading in windowed mode and graphical glitches being all black screen then I hit alt enter and sim appears .
Also a few ctd here and there on start up .
never happened prior to update .
and also performance issues .
i thought it was the Auto fps and dynamic LOD tool.
so fingers crossed su15 will fix all this.

8 hours ago, Cpt_Piett said:A person in the other AutoFPS thread reported the same. He also mentioned stutters during panning. Btw I have a high-end rig and also get stutters when panning quickly - or changing between views. I don't think we can do anything to get rid of this.
I don't think AutoFPS has anything to do with this. So there's most likely another issue. Are you on the latest Nvidia driver? Did this start to happen after you upgraded the driver?
Yes latest driver , I suspect this may be it.

Yes correct , I suspect it may be nvidia driver issue?
Panning around also stutters.
and then fps spikes and back to normal.
driver issue maybe?

hmmm something is going wrong with mine i have set target auto fps no expert mode.
ive also lowered setting to high is msfs yet during climb and ground is fine.
once cruising i get fps drops stutters. etc dont know why?
7950x3d 3080ti 6000mhz ram
yssy to ybbn
i switch auto fps off and my TLOD and OLED set at 200 and its smooth sailing thou my system should handle it just fine

1 hour ago, Cpt_Piett said:Ok, so based on what you wrote in your previous post, it seems you are running in IFR expert mode with auto target fps set, TLOD min 170 and max 300. And also autoOLOD at 200 min and max.
I'm still having some trouble understanding what your problem is. Do you mean that TLOD is staying at 300 all the time? I.e. it never goes any lower? And the clouds stay at ultra? Or high?
You also mentioned in your previous post that you're getting stutters and FPS fluctuations, but I don't think you mentioned what your target FPS is, which is the most important setting IMO. Make sure you don't set it any higher than your hardware can handle. And btw see my guide above as it might be helpful.
Since you're new to the app, it might be better to use non-expert mode before starting to experiment with the different expert settings.
I’ve had read the above post with video and had made it much clearer on how to use it.
and now it works wonders .wow !!!
Thanks

6 hours ago, Cpt_Piett said:@mikeymike As you're using auto target fps the app should manage TLOD, OLOD and clouds to give you decent FPS. Are you saying that FPS is too low? Or that it changes too much?
Although AutoFPS in auto target fps mode does a great job at giving a decent frame rate based on your hardware, it's important to know that it will not eliminate all causes of stutters. Stutters can be there for a variety of reasons - even at higher FPS.
@mikeymike sorry to tag you again, just wanted to say that I edited my post, you might want to re-check if you already read the original version.
it is not changing TLOD from 300 and the clouds from ultra to high. It stays the same
thanks

I can confirm also I am getting stutters fps fluctuations .using AutoFPS f, first time user yesterday.
did a circuit flight around England on the 737.
heavy dense clouds for miles.
min TLOD at 170 and max 300
Decrease cloud quality checked but remained at ultra .
auto Olod at 200 min and max .
auto target fps set IFR
im confused as others have no issue
I’m running a 7950x3d with a 3080ti
thanks

35 minutes ago, Cpt_Piett said:If you have an FPS lock somewhere, it's very important to set target FPS in the app lower than this. Even though the release version can deal with target being a couple of FPS below the lock, you might consider lowering it even further if you find that TLOD is not increasing in a reasonable way.
Also, as Reset mentioned, if target FPS is too high, LODs will likely not increase much above minimum.
Example: I had just set my target FPS unreasonably high, and LOD would stay at min until I lowered the target FPS. I hope this makes sense.
I see,
Yes, that makes sense .
thank you very much to you both.
this a very unique tool.
thank you and much appreciated.

target fps set at 48fps should i lower that?
vsync is on with 144hz monitor hence why 48
thanks

This for me works well as i had used it for the first time last night.
i was using the dynamic reset version prior .
with step climbs TLOD increases.
min on ground 180
3000ft 250tlod
7000ft till cruise 320tlod.
And clouds ultra .
fps locked at 48
but my issue is with Auto fps my TLOD does not increase until almost at cruise altitude .
but mu system can handle it though at higher TLOD at lower altitudes clearly shown using the dynamic lod reset version .
thoughts?
thanks

1 hour ago, edcorreia said:From the YMML FAQ which is on the Orbx site. I'm guessing you are at D6 perhaps. Do the other jetways work?
Q: The jetways at gates C7, C9, C12 and D6 won’t dock to my aircraft!
A: These are T-type jetways and for now they are static and won’t dock to your aircraft. We are not aware of anyone who has ever managed to animate them properly with all necessary animations (extending, going up and down, tunnel following up-down movement…) with one exception: ORBX’s ESGG airport. We are currently working on implementing the same treatment for YMML and will provide an update as soon as this has been achieved – making YMML one of the first and only sceneries to fully support T-type jetways.
Thank you for the response .
I guess that solves it for now .

its getting rediculous, i have the sim running perfectly smooth with no issues wih scenery etc no ctd .Then we have the few that want the complete "realsm" ohhh the taxi way line is too bright or whatever the case may be, then asobo tries to fix with a small update.
then causes alot more isues thatn its worth.
just leave it be.
sim is just fine as it is.

tried all above , now i am getting ctd. which leads me to believe its the recent small msfs update?
thanks
