  1. I just don't get how many times are we going to see the same word not allowed called something different? It all looks the same to me. Why do people even buy from them? I forgot about Simair, What a joke.
  2. I really like it. It's been a while since I flew a plane with a PT6 IRL but it brought back memories. If only the Carenado Caravan PT6 was modeled correctly.
  3. is it me or does the landing light and taxi light on the HD series look better than the EX? It actually illuminates.
  4. How do they treat their customers? No flame bate, just curious. Maybe I'll PM you to avoid BS
  5. Hi, I got the same email. If you go to the Fly the Maddog site forums, it's listed there. I haven't updated it yet. Will probably wait a few weeks, my sim is running great so why mess with it, lol
  6. Hello, Thanks Mr. York for your help last night. Yes my flap problem was solved. I reinstalled the aircraft and Fs2crew. Mr York did a remote desktop with me and solved the issue. One thing that I noticed was that he made sure that my Main Button was set up correctly and that C was selected even though I have mine linked to my joystick. I just completed my second flight since the remote and everything is working very well. I love this airplane and fs2crew makes it very realistic now.
  7. Well, I've uninstalled both the Maddog and FS2Crew, reinstalled it, and still no flap movement. I don't use LINDA, stopped my antivirus, disconnected my joystick. This SUCKS
  8. Hello, I'm having an issue with the flaps. In the after start checklist the FO doesn't move the flaps at all. During the after takeoff checklist the FO moves them sometimes and when he does, once in a while, he will select the flaps up and when I ask for Slats retract he will not do it. I'm running on FSX-SE Maddog X 32 Bit and the latest FS2crew Button Edition. I have veryfied that the CFG is correct. Thanks for your help.
  9. Hello, I have a strange brake issue. The brakes always look up and I smoke the tires when taxing and landing. If I just press the brakes they lock up and I see black smoke coming from the main gear. I have also noticed that when I land and use MIN Auto Brakes the airplane comes to a stop withing about 1000 feet and I smoke the tires. What I'm doing now is opting to not use auto brakes, using REV until about 80-70 knots, then applying manual brakes in small spurts as to not smoke the tires. I haven't had this issue on any other airplane. Is there anything that can be done about this? Is it something that I'm doing wrong? I'm using FSX-SE, Maddog X-32Bit Edition 1.10 Logitech Extreme 3D PRO. Thanks for your help
  10. THANK YOU BRYAN I've been disconnected from my simulator for over a year :( however I do log in from time to time to see what's cooking. I'm very, actually extremely happy that you took the time out of your busy schedule to create a Button Edition for this great airplane. It's awesome that you listen to your faithful customers. I absolutely despise talking to my computer, I talk enough as it is Now with this button edition I'll be able to enjoy the Q just like I enjoy the NGX, Airbus and the mighty J41, with a simple press of a button. Thanks again
  11. Thanks. I'm happy with my set up now so I won't mess with it.
  12. Hi, Am I missing out on anything by not upgrading to Windows10? I'm running FSX on W7 and I'm happy. I'm just wondering. Thanks
  13. I'm glad you made your decision. Simbrief is all you need.

The weight varies depending on the regulation covering your flight. At my airline one of the preflight checks is to review the FMC default settings and verify that the Standard Checked, Heavy Checked and Carry-On bags are set correctly. I haven't flown the NGX in a while, isn't there a way to change those settings?
  15. My first reaction to your post was to say that FOs are underrated in real life also. If I could count the time in which a person has walked up to me and asked; how long until the Captain lets me fly? Yada, yada, yada. Or when the captain messes up a landing and it's assumed that the FO did. It's just part of airline life. It's assumed that the captain has more experience than the FO, however that's not always the case.
  16. Don't Let Anybody Discourage You! Especially the Grammar Police up a few posts Your plan on a community college is fine. Airlines don't care what college/university you go to. As long as the institution is accredited. Your major won't matter either, so my suggestion is to get a degree in something other than aviation. If you're thinking about joining the military, please look into every branch of service. Too many people are so focused on flying that they only look at the Airforce and unfortunately neglect the Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard. See which one can offer you the most for your time, dedication and service. The GI Bill is an amazing benefit.
  17. Oh man! Please keep me informed. The Mighty Beech has a special place in my heart.
  18. I have something similar happen to me but only with certain liveries. They worked before, now they don't initialize. I've tried everything except uninstall. Sorry, I wish I could help :(
  19. In real life I don't really worry about it that much. I do it by time. At about 30 minutes prior to arrival I do all my calculations and ask the lead FA if they need any pax assists, lav service, etc. Then I send the in-range report and at the same time send out for my ref speeds and all that good stuff. Once I get it, we both verify it, and input it. In the sim I try to do the same but my dog Fuego verifies it
