I am awfully sorry to hear this.
Take care, and never give up.

The 300ER has tail strike prevention right? Or am I getting confused with the A340-600?
It has a semi levered main landing gear, but I dont know if the PMDG model will simulate that.
-
Why cant we enter smaller value? Any information given about it?
I dont know. I'm guessing that if you turn the airplane directly from the finger position, it will probably strike another plane.
-
I think its a matter of distance. It does not accept inputs smaller than a certain number (guessing 77 feet).
-
thanks!
that explains the odd effect. Do you know what is consider "low visibility"?
Is by chance the visibility low?
The method used by PMDG to make those pretty lights has a drawback - it does not work in low visibility conditions, in fact, it creates some nasty artifacts. So PMDG made them disappear in low-vis conditions and made the triangle default lights appear instead. -
REX = no impact at NGX performance.

I am using an Alienware M17xR3 desktop replacement. Almost the same config as above, but with the AMD 6870. Software: PMDG 737 NGX, REX, UT2, GEX, UTX. Running pretty smoothly (20fps+) in almost every condition but not at the busiest airports (around 12fps).
Alienware seems to be the brand to look for FSX laptops.

Daniel Choen: it works fine. Just back up the original file. It's not "rocket science".

I have seen a post in the AVSIM forum last month about a tweak to change the interior light colours of the 737 NGX from PMDG.
You should edit the 737NGX_Colors file (inside PMDG folder) to the following setup. This will give you a reddish light inside the VC.
Good luck! BR

Are you using the GPU? Have you tried to update or disable the video driver?Marcelo.

The best way I can help you with your question is to advise you to turn the FSX "damage" off. You have no idea how your life is gonna improve as a result of this. Food tastes better. The air seems fresher. You’ll have more energy and self confidence than you ever dreamed of! Bottom line is: there is no use for the annoying and erratic FSX crashes.

SBRJ - Santos Dumont runway 02R approach - operated by TAM Airbus A319 and GOL Boeing 737-800 "Short Field Package" - is a big challenge for me.Take a look at this
. It speaks for itself! -
unfortunately, is true.
-
Yes, but the simulator is a bit harder than FSX...
-
SBSP - SBRJ is a very 737NGX demanding flight, specially the landing procedure. SID and STAR charts @ http://www.aisweb.aer.mil.brMarcelo

I prefer to use the FSX ATC IFR for approval for take-off. After take-off, I change the radio to another frequency and therefore skip the annoying ATC instructions. This procedure give me a transponder code that will make the FSX controller to avoid traffic in my direction during the flight.Marcelo

Brings some fine memory of his work on building eye-candy 2d panels for FS98: an elegant MD-80, a wonderful Saab 340, and a very (VERY!) much anticipated and revolutionary 767 (was it 1999?).
