I agree. There are sim pilots that use FSUIPC to control button, switches, axis (axises, axes) and wanted to save them the headache of joining the beta and then leaving it so their sim would work again. John made the reply pretty evident an update for the beta is not on his to-do list.

Youbetya! Your individual camera files got overwritten by the SU10 beta update. If you have a backup you can restore those camera files. Or rebuild them and then make a backup for the next time it happens.

I'm not sure what happened and I'd like to say I screwed something up so I can avoid doing it again, but I'm 99% sure I didn't do anything. Now I'm more paranoid than usual. Backup of the MSFS data files saved my butt.

Do a search in Content Manager. If Charleston turns up you're in luck. Delete it. You can always bring it back if it doesn't work out.

Same thing. MSFS started loading and told me about a mandatory update but showed the default location for an install. After I pointed it to my iinstall in E:\MSFS it continued on loading. Blue bar along the bottom went all the way across and has been sitting there approx 50 minutes. Task Manager shows CPU usage going up and down around 10%. Does not seem to be frozen. I did not opt into the SU10 beta as I am having too much fun with the Neofly 4 beta and don't know if they're compatible yet. Only thing to change since yesterday is the 737 update to xxxxx.25 or whatever. Later.... somehow my "Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe" folders all became unavailable and empty. Fortunately I had a backup of those data folders only one day old. Lesson.... BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP. Copying those folders back into the "Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe" location took less then 2 minutes. Compared to ????????????????????

Sounds like when you reinstalled MSFS the "Skip Pre-flight Cinematics" got reset (along with some other settings you've noticed) and now you're seeing something you forgot even existed in the sim. As Yogi Berra wold say if he was here, "It's deja vu all over again."

I am lusting after a 3090ti but reason tells me I can buy a 3080ti, new MB and new CPU for today's cost of the 3090ti. I'm waiting to see what Amazon Prime Day (July 12 + 13) wows me with before I decide.

Same goes KLAS or CYVR airports out now.. Or REX Accuseasons and Bijan 4 Season Pack. I'm really only left with reading other user's thought and forming an opinion based on those. Someone trashing a utility they don't currently own is not considered. Same thing for a Developer's creative writing on their website. Like in Olympic scoring, throw out the high, throw out the low and average the rest. I own and use Bijan's 4 Season Pack and like how it makes the sim look most of the time in most places. Summer North - Winter South is kinda disappointing though. Just doesn't look right in my opinion. Other seasons are fine. I would consider buying REX Accuseasons (as I have their other msfs products) if it were to go on sale. Which it isn't, and the 4th of July would have been a great time.

Much more versatile in my opinion. And if 15 buttons isn't enough ... you can make additional pages with more buttons, or buy the 32 button model ($250US) which also makes additional pages and so much more. Not quite. I had EFBv1 and had to pay for the upgrade to EFBv2. Might have been a reduced price but I still had to pay. So you're probably "good to go" until they cash grab for EFBv3. My opinion. And EFBv2 has problems displaying some, repeat some, airports in MSFS. There is a work around for Addon Airports but the Admin states, "We do not do corrections for default airports." (Their emphasis.) As of this writing there are four (4) airports that have been fixed. Missing runways, taxiways, aprons, gates, etc. for the decreased price of CHF 49.00 doesn't qualify as a bargain.

Oh well, the modders then.

Did a second flight from KCLT to KMEM with the same type of turn 20+ miles out of Charlotte. CRJ made the turn much better than last time. But then I caught a CTD for the first time in months. That'll teach me. I'm not holding my breath that Aerosoft will fix this bug. It's been around in all the releases of the CRJ. The CRJ X, CRJ Professional and now in the MSFS version. Seems Hans always has something else to do before he can get around to looking at the problem.

I use the 700 since forever. Takeoff Rwy 2 and climb at 240kts. Should put you at FL210 about HCH but keep 240kts as it's a sharp turn, then accelerate to 290. Just did the flight and zig zag still there, but seeing as Aerosoft didn't do anything to fix this I didn't expect anything different. Version 1.0.17

KCHA HCH VXV KTRI at FL210. Takeoff Rwy 2. While it's not an automatic, the zig-zag usually happens after the first waypoint HCH. I just got the newest update 1.0.17 and have not yet tried this route but I always fly it first going back to the P3D versions of the CRJs.

No answer for why the CRJ zig-zags across the sky but what update are you referring? I have v1.0.15.0 and don't see anything newer.

FSDT KORD doesn't show anything obvious wrong or out of place. I did remove the default Asobo/MS KORD from Content Manager.

I'm on the US east coast server and experienced the same thing in a flight this morning. Finally just switched to offline mode, finished the flight and found something else to do.
