  1. Same thing here. That is the version # listed in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.39.4.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe Using DLSSSwapper, I had to "swap" two times for it to actually change the versions.
  2. Nope. Wrong. Untrue. Read the pre-release MSFS2024 info from Microsoft and/or Asobo. You can buy either 2024 Store or Steam version and your 2020 aircraft will be available in the 2024 Store or Steam version. One caveat though .... they are 2020 aircraft, not updated to FS2024 standards. Don't take my word for it, read it yourself from the devs.
  3. Have A Good Summer Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling
  4. That's probably a good idea because the whole idea of a beta release is to test the core simulator without any addons getting in the way. Totally boring but it's the only way for this mess called MSFS2024 to become stable for everyone.
  5. I found this SimHanger video to be very good in explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q93MIUu988w&t=404s
  6. Should also give you the option to continue using your password. It's further down and not really obvious.
  7. From the README.md file: "- A choice between VFR (GA) and IFR (Airliner) flight types, which defaults to settings suitable to each flight type and in Expert mode is fully customisable with four additional profiles available."
  8. Yes. Since it was first released. It's automatically loaded thru the exe.xml.
  9. Must be on your end. I just had no problem on their website. Easy peasy.
  10. Those who opted for the Standard version of MS2024. Is it possible to now purchase MS2024 planes from the Premium and/or Premium Deluxe versions?
  11. My Controls Options shows: VELOCITYONE FLIGHT with the Description window showing a picture of the Yoke VELOCITYONE FLIGHT with the Description window showing a picture of the Throttle Quadrant It's listed twice and I don't know why they did it like that. But that's what it is. My guess is that when you started MSFS2020 with the VELOCITYONE FLIGHT plugged in it was in XBOX input mode which is why Controls Options is telling you "CONTROLLER (XBOX 360 FOR WINDOWS)". It's stuck on XBOX mode. I would try unplugging the yoke and throttle quadrant while MSFS2020 is running to see if the VelocityOne Flight profiles disappear. If they don't disappear you're going to have to figure out how to make them disappear. I remember there being threads here on Avsim to delete hardware profiles so search. Once they're gone close down MSFS2020 and then restart. Back inside the Controls Options menu make sure the throttle quadrant is plugged into the yoke and the VelocityOne Flight is in PC input mode. Plug it into a USB on the computer and hopefully everything is OK. TurtleBeach does not recommend using USB hub.
  12. I'm not understanding this. Is the yoke's input set to Xbox or PC?
  13. As a matter of fact ........ This morning (15 April 2025) Aerosoft replied to my ticket. Here's the instructions they sent. Put in your CRJ v1 serial from PCAviator. https://cdnone.aerosoft.com/client/user-guide/en/aerosoft-one-user-interface/activating-an-external-product/ And then avoid PCAviator forever and ever.
  14. Relax. I was quoting from the article you included in your OP. That's not putting words in your mouth and I certainly did not misquote as it was a direct copy and paste. Although "you" was ambiguous and should be replaced by "the user".
  15. Ignorance is not an excuse. It's in the EULA and you have to accept the EULA to install/use the program.
  16. Ditto and ditto. That would have been the 6th or 7th. Today's the 10th and at 2:45pm EDT the CRJ v2 is not listed.
  17. This might help someone: https://helpdesk.aerosoft.com/hc/en-gb/articles/26328267646877-How-to-download-and-claim-the-free-Aerosoft-CRJ-V2-Update .... but PCAviator is not one of the stores listed. <sigh> "I made a ticket with Aerosoft helpdesk so I"ll see what happens," he said, hopefully.
  18. Same here, but I also don't see PCAviator showing the CRJ v2 for sale on their site. In fact their site doesn't show much of anything new or recent. I'm wondering if they're starting to go MIA like that Aussie place years ago. I'm hoping Contrail can come to our rescue and allow transfers from Aerosoft and/or Aerosoft products bought from other stores.
  19. Already checked the Aerosoft One app and my Aerosoft US Shop account and the CRJs aren't listed. I'll give PCAviator a few days and submit a ticket if needed.
  20. I originally bought thru PCAviator and am wondering if I'll receive an update available notice from them.
  21. From their explanation it seems like a Windows setting is causing the problem. As in: "Unfortunately, on Windows PC, users who had automatic updates enabled received a mandatory update" I don't have FS2024 so can't try it.
  22. I update 2-3 days after a driver is released. If there's something wrong with it, it will be found right away. And it's not like I'm burning a bridge, I can always revert to an older version if the newest gives me problems. What current problem?
  23. search "ifly changelog" FSElite has an article on the update to 1.03
  24. If you don't want the Steam version you can buy the Beam Eye Tracker for Windows directly on their website. https://beam.eyeware.tech/get-beam/ 20% off with code SPRING2025 (it's on the website too) Good until beginning of April, 2025.
  25. OK, so go back up to the top and choose "Microsoft Flight Simulator" (the 2020 version) and everything you have for that sim will come back.
