  1. Delete the fsx.cfg and let it create again and see if there is any moving?

This happen to me some time ago, C777 is not responding to controls. A mod told me to delete my cfg and let it create again and it fixed the problem. You guys might want to try that. No harm right?

  2. Guy, When my first load up my frame was like 20+ very bad. After that i close my fsx and restarted and my frame went back to normal. Really weird but this is my experience

  3. I'm guessing that you didn't read the whole original post before hitting reply.

Other than that, I agree that this is more than likely a FW throttle issue. Opus is also sometimes quite quirky. That is why I use FSGRW or AS2012 when flying jets.

Completed around 6 flights all using opus with time compression long range. No problem at all

  4. Stephen/Cheryl :P Is opus going to support PFPX? If you elect NOT to extend the server subscription, PFPX will still be fully functional, but without real-time data such as Winds, METAR, TAF, Tracks and NOTAMs. Other sources, like ActiveSky and RealEnvironment Extreme and your saved weather data and tracks will still be functional! You can elect to extend your subscription at any time, even if it already has expired!

  5. I always put it at 50% and push the TOGA button ( can be program in the FMC) and let the VC throttle do the rest. When you press the TOGA button the AT is also activated.

Phy throttle 50% VC throttle is at either T1 or T2 depends on the weather and weight

  6. Am having a look at all possibilities Clayton including FSUIPC ini ,Opus weather updates etc. To answer your question, yes I have a Saitek yoke, throttle and rudder pedals.

Will give myself a break for a while and take a fresh look at the computer and its settings as well.

In all honesty I don't know why when an issue gets reported people seem to think we make this stuff up.

I consider myself a reasonably accomplished rw pilot with good theoretical knowledge yet some pimply faced kid seems to think I am posting this stuff up for the good of my health.

At the end of the day, I have seen a bit of strange behaviour from the PMDG B777 - (none of it deal breaking or a death sentence) that did not occur at all with the B737 series and I think there may be some gremlins still in the system somewhere.

I hope PMDG take the information I am relating to them seriously while I try and investigate from my end, my computer and possible conflicts.  End of story

I have opus and it havent gave me this type of reaction. Will love to help you. Hope you find your solution soon!

Also you might want to go here http://forum.avsim.net/forum/577-the-opusfsx-forum/ this is opus forum

  7. fuel to load, enter your route and then check the PROG page’s fuel prediction for the destination airport – subtract your current load from the amount it predicts at the destination and add 15500 lbs (7000 kg) for alternate/hold and so on and that’ll be a decent estimate. Use more if you have a long distance alternate or other extenuating circumstances. A rough rule of thumb is to assume the airplane will use around 17,600 lbs (8000 kg) of fuel per hour of flight time.

The rest will be cover in T2

While I do like the 777, my experience is a little different to the others responding. I have had some difficulty assigning autopilot commands to buttons on my controller that suddenly resolved itself after hours of trying to sort it out. Not a deal breaker but certainly frustrating.
The other things I have found is that on my system it is a little heavier on frames than the NGX despite claims it was lighter by the beta testers. I know everybody's experiences will vary but that is honestly mine. I do not have all my setting to the right, autogen in normal and ai modest at around 20%.
I am also suffering some long texture loading times if switching between the spot and vc views at a graphically heavy airport at night, YBBN.
While its only early days I do not expect anywhere to be much more challenging than YBBN but this was also without any weather injected so the jury is still out on that one. While frames are down to about 16 fps at times it is still petty smooth.
Plenty of things to like about the product as well but I assumed you would want a no bs assessment of people's experiences so far.

    I have an i5 2500k 4.3 and a 7850 i got like 5fps improvement on 777. In 737 i got about 20~30, in 777 i got 30~35
Never had to wait for the texture to load when switch views. Maybe becoz of the overclock? If you havent overclock i will recommend to do so but at your own risk!

  9. You can set the Weather Update Period and Distance  up to a maximum of 120 minutes and/or 360km (223 miles) in the Weather Download options, accessed via the weather dialog.

You can't use both Opus DHM and ezdok DHM, you can't have two programs controlling the eyepoint at the same time.

In our Getting Started Guide we recommend you disable Aircraft stress causes damage (FSX menu option - Options, Settings, click on the Realism button) to prevent windshifts crashing the aircraft. In the beta 3.31.0 we have done some additional work to help prevent wind shifts.

    Cheryl

I only want to set Weather update period without the distance. Is it possible to do that? Like in as2012 update every 5mins. I only want the time
