DC-3 RETRO AUTO PILOT VIDEO
Space Monkey replied to Stratocruiser1's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I thought it doesn't do nav tracking and you had to use heading mode to follow the nav bearing. -
Is there any way to circumvent this update and get back to flying till tomorrow ? Thanks
-
Lucky you guys who are up and running, I'm still stuck, going nowhere. Wait, just a moment ... just a moment... I've just picked up a fault in the AE35 unit, its going to go 100% failure in 72 hours.......
-
Ok Thanks, time for tea (maybe dinner to you ?)

Stuck on soundbanks patch as well. Is it safe to closedown MSFS and try later ?

Hi, I'm in the early stages of using Navigraph charts inside MSFS2020 but I would prefer to use it outside the sim on the main 32inch desk top (like the ALT + TAB to LNM). I have a 10inch tablet but I don't think that wouldn't do it justice. Thanks for any help Brian

Space Monkey replied to Rene_Feijen's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Same here, tried safe mode, addons disabled, reboot computer and finally sign out of xbox which seemed to do the trick then it went into an 8.6 GB download. Doh -

Little Nav Map on Tablet
Space Monkey replied to Lord Farringdon's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
My understanding is that LNM (on your PC) runs its's own web server which allows you to open a browser on your tablet where you enter the web address of the server to connect and use LNM on the tablet. Have a look at LNM help Regards -
My external EFB gone a bit iffy for Fenix too but works as normal via the monitor. Not 100% sure but using the monitor first to load FP in EFB seems to kick off the external EFB ? Regards

EGAA Belfast International/Aldergrove
Space Monkey replied to pyreegue's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
HI, looks brilliant (if not gorgeous) and I'd love to install it as my OP base, however will it be possible to purchase through an outlet other than Orbx. Regards -
I,ve experienced this too on various occasions with other aircraft and I wonder if it's a glitch in the airport scenery, maybe a free addon ? Does it just happen at specific spots at a given airport. Cheers

MSFS files to delete occasionaly
Space Monkey replied to MrBitstFlyer's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
If your are using Add-on Linker and therefor changing what add-ons are loaded each FS start-Up, does this mean the MSFS content and scenery lists are updated and does this slow down the FS start-up ? Cheers -
Fenix A320 - Saving Panel States
Space Monkey replied to XCLTM3's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Hi, Are you on the lastest ver: 1.0.1.95 where changelog states If you've been having problems using the EFB, we've made a number of changes/improvements/fixes that should hopefully sweep up a number of common issues relating to the EFB -
moving an instrument to an Android tablet
Space Monkey replied to 4df5's topic in The X-Plane General Discussions Forum
Hi, You could buy an Amazon Fire Table (good value) and turn it into an android tablet. This gives you access to Google Play apps such as Touch Portal which allows you to quire easily create your own button layout to emulate keyboard commands alternatively there apps to run gauges via web api. Regards Brian -
Thankyou for your time in replying. What you outlined may be the better long-term option for me (if I can get my head around the implementation) so I'll have a look for the example at your website. Regards Brian
-
Thankyou, yes your quite right on that. However developers of addon aircraft (eg Fly-by-wire A32NX) create unique variables and events with respect to the operation of their aircraft. Currently Touch Portal relies on freeware enthusiasts developing API modules as an interface between MSFS2020 data/events and Touch Portal buttons and these modules are well out of date and don't get updated as the sim develops. I'm probably wrong but I assumed AnO's being a paid app provided a framework which was kept up to date in respect of simulator variables/events and may have allowed an end user to insert/change Lvars/events gleaned from the updated MSFS2020 SDK or publications issued by addon developers. Regards Brian I'm nearly always wrong

Space Monkey replied to HiFlyer's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Didn't fancy flying the Antonov just at the minute anyway ! -
Lorby_SI, Hi, Don't mean to highjack this thread but is it currently possible/any plans to use implement XnO's app with virtual button applications eg Touch Portal. Thankyou Brian
