  1. Yes, it is definitely not on par with the latest add-ons being released for the other platform. But I was expecting this, at least for the P3D release.
  2. About 30fps sitting at the gate with FSUIPC limiting traffic to 28 aircraft.
  3. So, just by turning road traffic completely off, I've got a good FPS bump (25 to 35 on KJFK with some AI). With Core 0 being 98% used and GPU idling at 50%, every workload removed from the CPU helps a lot.
  4. It is possible to pop-out the Palmtop and INSs, but, from what I've seen, there is a P3D limitation regarding touch input recognition on second monitors. Thanks, I'll research some more.
  5. Not yet. I am currently running P3D on the highest possible settings, so I will try to optimize a bit first during the weekend. Pretty sure the sub-optimal performance is a platform problem and not an issue with the plane, though. A question for hardcore P3D users: I'd like to use Concorde's 2D HP Palmtop and the INS panels on a touch monitor that I have. Anyone know if this is possible? Currently my touch inputs are not being registered.
  6. No, the next gen will be another Raptor Lake refresh using the same LGA1700 socket. Even older Z690 boards should support them: Gigabyte Adds Support for Intel 14th Gen CPUs: Z690 Boards to Work with Raptor Lake-S Refresh | Hardware Times With that being said, I don't think it will be a big jump though, perhaps 10% IPC improvement (it was around 12% on the jump from 12900K to 13900K).
  7. For P3D I have little doubt that the 13900K is a better choice. Upgrade to 14900K will also be possible down the road.
  8. First results with the new Concorde on LFPG with AIG Traffic are awful. Was getting 15fps and had to severely limit traffic to achieve 25. 😕
  9. Having all he FSLabs Airbuses, just looking at the flight-deck makes me not want to use them at all. With V2-B1, the experience with Fenix is overall much more satisfying. As for Concorde, I have purchased it due to the MSFS discount. Unfortunately I will have to bear with P3D until that version comes out.
  10. They have not announced it yet. I would expect around 50 USD/EUR or so. The product was also cheaper than I’ve expected.
  11. Purchased. The discount for MSFS made me do it. 😀
  12. It has been released and FSLabs pretty much confirmed a discount for MSFS. A wise decision, considering the current market situation: https://forums.flightsimlabs.com/topic/32991-flight-sim-labs-concorde-now-released/
  13. Lefteris confirmed that a discount will be available for those that purchase Concorde for P3D. https://forums.flightsimlabs.com/topic/32991-flight-sim-labs-concorde-now-released/
  14. FSLabs should offer a significant discount for the MSFS version for those purchasing Concorde for P3D. There is barely anyone left using that sim and this measure could surely help boost their cash flow a bit.
  15. Have not used XP12 for a while. Was excited to try 12.06, but this is what I see just out of EHAM: ☹️
  16. I have asked in the official forum and they've answered: "this can be mapped via the Comanche Input Configurator in the "A2A Simulations" folder in the Windows start menu." Not tried this yet.
  17. I just finally put my 8TB HDDS full of orthos to rest and will rely on auto-ortho whenever using XP12 from this point on. While this is a great tool, there are many issues with it, like 2D-Clouds being shown on the ground and terrain patches not being properly rendered. The first is not even something that could be solved, as far as I am aware. Nevertheless, as my XP12 has dramatically been reduced, I believe this move makes sense.
  18. Can't blame them. I have been using XP a lot over the years but, with the latest releases on the other sim, this usage has been reduced dramatically. Frankly, I don't see how this trend can be reverted at this point. I like XP and will keep it installed, but it feels to me that the visual difference between the platforms is dramatic enough for the common user to not even give it a chance.
  19. Essential functions modeled outside of the sim. The Apps don’t detect the engine start. Perhaps someone finds a workaround soon.
  20. Great plane. As it currently stands, no way to use it with OnAir, FSEconomy or similar tools, unfortunately.
  21. With live traffic provided by RealTraffic, I just use FlightRadar24 or some specific Flightboard App. No need for yet another add-on for such a simple use case.
  22. My M2 is a regular one and I was getting around 30-40 fps in medium settings using default scenery and aircraft. Have not even tried 4K with high-end aircraft, AI and ortho...
  23. I have briefly played with XP12 using my Macbook M2, but the performance was much, much worse than both of my rigs. X3D + a beefy GPU is imho the best combo for simming.
  24. I have used Ezdok and Chaseplane extensively in P3D. Why? Because the default camera system stinks. DCS, XP and MSFS offer customizable built-in systems making it possible to achieve everything I need to properly manage complex aircraft, namely: move inside the flight-deck with WASD keys, create and easily activate custom cameras for instrumentation and cabin views. Based on the last sentence of your statement, it just sounds you have never tried to use the camera systems in the other sims. It is totally possible to create cameras for different internal views in *all* of them for *specific* aircraft!
  25. Why would LM break compatibility to such an extent in what it seems to be a clear evolutionary update? If the improvements brought forward by V6 were dramatic, then I would be all for it. To me, this only reinforces the obvious: academic/personal users are not at all relevant to them.
