This is what Wikipedia has to say about this plane: The Bugatti Model 100 was a purpose-built air racer designed to compete in the 1939 Deutsch de la Meurthe Cup Race. Ettore Bugatti started work in 1938 to design the racer using engines sold in his automotive line for co-marketing. The Model 100 had an unusual inboard mounted twin engine arrangement driving forward-mounted contra-rotating propellers through driveshafts. The aircraft also featured a 120-degree v-tail arrangement and retractable landing gear. The construction was mostly of wood, with sandwiched layers of balsa and hardwoods, including tulipwood stringers covered with doped fabric. Unfortunately, the plane could not be finished in time and during WWII Bugatti stored it on his estate. After the war its twin Bugatti 50P engines were removed for automotive restorations. Today the aircraft is on display at the EAA Aviation Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I fly the plane from Ugak Island, which is a small island at Kodiak Island’s east coast first across Kodiak Island on the south coast of Alaska and later land again at the island’s east coast at Kodiak airport. Ugak Island Passing by Uganik Island at Kodiak Island’s west coast Near Broken Point Now I have turned east again and head towards Whale Island Approaching Kodiak Thanks for viewing

Could well be Andi. If I remember correctly, the Iranians still have one or two SPs in their fleet.

Chunk, Andy and Gerold, many thanks for commenting!

Fantastic shots, buddy, as always!

Many thanks gents for your kind comments!! I had problems some three years ago, and I was almost giving up on AMD. Then I sent them an e-mail showing them the problem I and some others here on avsim have with their card, when using a flight simulator. A couple of weeks later they issued a new driver and from then on it was smooth sailing. Hahaha, your memory is flawless, P_7878 !

Thanks a lot for commenting, Will, PM and P_7878 !! -
Excellent shots, Ryan. When the Cub was released I thought that we already have quite a few similar looking aircraft in our sim and most of them are faster too. But after seeing your post here, I got tempted 😃

Roaming the Steinbeck Country in a 414A Chancellor...
bernd1151 replied to P_7878's topic in The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Great post and thanks for the story about Steinbeck, P_7878! I remember that we two had a discussion about him a few years back already in one of your posts. If I had to choose just one of his many books, it would definitely be "Travels with Charley: In search of America". By the way, and I hope I remember this correctly, when he arrived in Monterey on this trip, he was so upset seeing these huge crowds of tourists (and this was in 1960 🙂), that he almost "fled" through the Mojave Desert and Arizona and only stopped, once he had arrived in Texas. 😃 -
Two great shots, T.

Nice repaint !!
