  1. Great tour in a classic aircraft, P_7878 and thanks for the story. Very interesting!
  2. Two very nice shots, buddy!
  3. You are absolutely right. Some thirty years ago I took the family on vacation for 3.5 to 4 weeks, every year without any issues. If my kids file for a vacation now that is longer than two weeks, they feel guilty. Over a hundred years ago our ancestors went on vacation not for four weeks but for two months. And there was no smart phone or internet to connect them with business at home. And the daily newspaper usually reached them two days later. Who lives a happier life? 🙂
  4. Many thanks my friends for your kind comments!!
  5. When I consider the speed with which you give us all these wonderful liveries, Jan, your day must have 48 hours 😀
  6. This is the new Redwing Zeppelin and part of Redwing’s 1930s scenery, which has to be bought separately The airport is Berlin Tempelhof Boy oh boy, this is sooo different from anything I have flown before The whole city has been changed to the 1930s, so you won’t see any modern buildings and no high rise Slowly approaching the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag, the German Parliament building And the Reichstag looks with its old roof structure exactly as it looked in those days If you look at the shadow cast by the airship, the Brandenburg Gate seems really small And that's it for now. Very interesting, but I certainly won't be crossing the pond with it in real time 😀😀
  7. Hi Howard, I have sent you a PM, Bernd
  8. Great shots, buddy. I don't think though that your faible for the Fenix A320 has surpassed your fondness for the Concorde 😀😀
  9. Great shots, Andreas and you are right, those older liveries really look nice.
  10. Great liveries, Jan !!
  11. Thanks a lot, Andreas. It cannot compare with Bavaria of course, but it's still pretty nice, especially from higher up 😀
  12. Like Andreas, also my capabilities creating a decent livery are very limited, so my hat off to you Rob! Thank you also for the interesting background story to that plane.
  13. Thank you all for your kind comments !!
  14. What a nice trip, Andreas! And the Dash 7 is a great aircraft in MSFS.
  15. Fehmarn is an island in the Baltic Sea, off the eastern coast of Northern Germany The strip is long enough to handle a Junkers It is managed out of a small trailer Thanks for viewing
  16. Fantastic shots !!
  17. Cool trip buddy and I agree with you: the livery is unusual.
  18. Interesting trip over an interesting area with a plane that carries an interesting paint 🙂🙂
  19. I agree with you. That is why, when I fly the Caribou, I only fly shorter distances. 🙂
  20. Great set of screenshots, Ryan ! You are not alone, Andy. We have a nice saying for this in Germany: it's a hobby and hobbies don't cost you anything 🙂
  21. Cool shots and indeed a very interesting livery, P_7878 !
  22. That was a very nice trip, P_7878. Thanks for taking us along.
  23. Thank you all for your kind comments, my friends !!
  24. Great shots buddy. How come I knew which plane you meant, when I saw your title 😄
  25. Excellent screenies, Andreas. And the Orthos look very convincing. I think I still must have over 2 TB of orthos hidden on one of my HDs. But since MSFS came out, I haven't touched XP anymore. Great to see that you still use it.
