Nice to see that you are using XP again, Andy and your shots really look superb. One thing I noticed though, at least to me the ORBX TE scenery in your shots look a bit too brownish (I guess that you have them installed, otherwise it would be that the default scenery looks too much on the brown side for me).

Great shots my friend. I haven't flown the 737 for some time, it's nice to see that she has a HUD now. I'll have to upload the latest build and check her out again 🙂

Many thanks, Jack. The countryside is really beautiful (but the population there is very very poor), bigger cities are more dangerous, especially for us tourists in the evenings. Alcohol abusus is a rampant problem. But again, the rural population is very friendly, bring some small presents, show your respect and they invite you to their huts for some food (which my wife and I have always politely refused 🙂)

The Beech D18S does not necessarily come up as the ideal bush flying plane for PNG, but it’s a lot of fun to use her within her limitations and sometimes also a bit beyond. 😀😀 The freeware scenery for both airstrips is available from the .to site. Thanks for viewing

Sorry John, I am quite familiar with the Corregidor history and I have visited the island a few times to get more familiar with its WWII history. I have never intended to give the impression it could be a vacation spot. Should this have come across in my thread, I'd like to appologize for it, because this was not my intention at all. The island that I passed and showed here as a nice vacation spot has actually nothing to do with Corregidor, as it is quite far from it and part of the Manila Bay area.

As I said in my previous thread, this scenery begs to be explored by boat. So here is a short trip around the area with a final stop at Corregidor Island. The next thread will be of course about flying again. 🙂 The Nordhavn 86 was ported over by yours truly from FSX. Its developer “DeltaSim” appears to have closed shop. We finally found a perfect and safe spot for us to anchor the boat and spend the night Then, shortly before sunset we spotted a huge yacht slowly slipping into our quiet cove After breakfast we set our course for Corregidor Island …and pass by some fantastic spots to go for a short vacation At Corregidor Island Thanks for viewing.
