  1. Thank you very much, gents, for your kind comments
  2. Beautiful shots. If you have the freeware Embraer 170 to 195 family by Hangar FS, they all come with the default Microsoft CRJ700 VC. I fly them in P3D 3.35 and they are fairly nice (and simple) to fly. There are quite a few upgrades to the default CRJ700 panel available here on avsim, which you can use for the Embraer too. I'm not sure, whether the planes are available here, at least I couldn't find them on avsim, but if you google them they will come up on another flightsim site
  3. That's a superb shot. The Italian photoscenery is just terrific. I am addicted flying there, the good thing is it covers also part of Austria and Switzerland, so you have some mileage to cover before you run out or mountains
  4. Excellent shots, HL. I have to admit, I have bought AS Aspen some 6 weeks ago and haven't even installed it yet. Too busy flying in other places. So thanks for reminding me that there is still a task ahead
  5. Awesome !!
  6. I admit, it’s slow, but soooo enjoyable. And on top, Samoa was begging for it   Thanks for viewing
  7. These are top notch shots, HL. In the late 19th century British Queen Victoria ruled over two big mountains in East Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenia. Her nephew was Friedrich Wilhelm II, the future German emperor (her daughter Victoria was his mother). When he was about to turn 12, she asked him what he would like to have for his birthday present. He answered that he wanted to have a horse. But Queen Victoria thought that she can't give the future German emperor a silly horse, so she decided to give him one of her two mountains in East Africa instead: Mount Kilimanjaro. He wasn't too pleased, when he heard that when he turned 12
  8. Awesome shots of Nanaimo!! Ryan, you can get it here: https://fullterrain.com/freeware It's in the ORBX NA scenery
  9. Great trip, HL. I toured the Lake Powell area in our RV a few years back. Unforgetable
  10. Great screenies, HL. Bowerman is of amazing quality considering it's freeware
  11. When I switched from an almost default-like plane such as the Carenado C-172 to the Sibwings An-2, I hadn't touched anything yet in its cockpit, that means that oil cooler shutters & cowl flaps were still closed. And when I came back, it was already too late
  12. Very nice capture
  13. Fantastic flight, HL. Well done!
  14. You watch a TV documentary of the Yukon territory and think to yourself that this would be a great area to further explore by plane. So you fire up your flightsim, select an airport in your desired location and want to go flying. In this case the default plane that loads with P3D is a Carenado C-172 with the engine running. You select a more appropriate plane, which is an An-2 with Yukon livery. And then, while the simulator loads your plane, you get distracted and walk away from your computer for a few minutes. And when you come back you see this unfolding right in front of your eyes. Lesson learned. Next time I will start the An-2 properly from cold and dark
  15. Thanks a lot gents
  16. Thanks for viewing
  17. Interesting flight as always Harald. Makes me want to pack my bag and fly there again
  18. Great screenie
  19. Now that's my kind of flying  But you landed at Nice airport, am I correct?
  20. What a wonderful trip and getting the best out of both worlds (ORBX and photoreal)
  21. Great shots all the way. The last one is my favorite
  22. I'm going with one of the older Boeings, probably a 737-200
  23. Superb shot
