  1. Many thanks, Will, John, Darren and Andi for your comments!!
  2. I take off from the Lüderitz airport The harbor of Lüderitz Along the Namaqua National Park The landscape changed after I have entered South African airspace, I am here at the north-western part of the Western Cape Getting closer to Cape Town On my way to the Cape of Good Hope The Cape of Good Hope, which is not the southern most tip of Africa That honor goes to the Cape Agulhas, which is some 170 kilometres (105 miles) southeast of Cape Town Thanks for viewing
  3. Cool screenies, Andi !
  4. Many thanks for your kind comments, my friends, much appreciated!!
  5. Excellent screenies, Johnny! Thanks for taking us along.
  6. Nice screenies, F_7878! I don't know why, but when I fly into Berlin or Paris I don't experience any drop in FPS. Only when I go into Lonfon, they go down. Maybe, just maybe, them Brits don't want us strangers there 😃😃
  7. Great shots, Andi! Is that the plane done by Mike Wilson?
  8. Thanks for commenting PM, Andy and Jean Marc !
  9. If there is one person, who could do that, it would be Jack, Gerold. But only if the plane is yellow 😃😃
  10. It’s nice to come across this old paddle steamer on Lake Lucerne in Switzerland, which was built in 1928. In 2021 it has re-entered public service after having been fully renovated. This took over 80,000 hours of labor and cost some 13 mio CHF or Euro.
  11. I use the latest edition of Bing instead of Google and I found it, at least when flying in Continental Europe, a bit better. But I guess it all depends on the specific area where you plan to fly 🙂
  12. Excellent screenies, PM, as always. Interesting not to see you flying a tube 😃
  13. Thanks a lot, Peter, UrgentSiesta and Will !!
  14. Many thanks for your kind comments, gents ! Not UFOs Gerold, just large birds 🙂
  15. I take off from the Freiburg airport. The city can trace its origins back to the 12th century Above the Feldberg. With 1,493 meters (4,898 ft) it’s the highest mountain in the Black Forest Above the Titisee, a smallish lake in the Black Forest. It covers an area of 1.3 square km (320 acres) and is an average of 20 m (66 ft) deep I have now reached Lake Constance This 45 hectares island in Lake Constance is maintained as a garden island and a model of excellent environmental practices. It is one of the main tourist attractions of Lake Constance. Beside flowers there is a park landscape with views on the lake. There is also a large greenhouse with a tropical climate and thousands of butterflies. It is a little bit like the 22 hectares Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island Getting closer to my destination Friedrichshafen Thanks for viewing
  16. Fantastic shots, Darryl !!
  17. Thanks Andi. It's not the money that concerns me. I have MSFS, XP11 and IL-2 installed and I think I have some 4 to 5 TB of orthos installed for XP11. Yet I find myself flying almost exclusively in MSFS. Maybe I am just too lazy 😃😃
  18. I just love your comments, Andy. You seem to have a dry humour, which I like. And your screenies are superb! Btw, what's Bollinga Champagne? I only know Bollinger, which was 007's favourite. 😃
  19. Brilliant shots, Andy. I haven't tried that yet, but me thinks I ought to test it too 🙂
