hi jim thank you for the reply and help.. some how after i gave my system a gd clean out temp file blah blah. it seems atm to be okay. i will let you know if this happends again.

hi all, so here is the problem. i load fsx choose the plane airport etc etc..after the plane has loaded and im sitting there setting the plane up the sound starts to become very distort. it sounds like static and then after about 2 minutes the sound cuts out all together. this includes outside the game also as if it kills all the sound to the computer...but when i log the pc off. the win 7 log off sound works. as if there was sound to start with.. this is been bugging me for some time now..iv checked the drivers and they are up to date. and iv checked to make sure im using the correct output device in the settings of fsx.

yh its been english from the start. tryed diffrent sites also.

sadly not. also earlier i tried to install the pmdg 747-400 and a message came up saying fsx.exe verion number not found unable to install. is my fsx corrupt ? btw its a legit copy as its 2 disks. also when i try to install disk 2 it freezes so i have to open the disk tray and close it to keep the install working.

hi all. so simply iv installed fsx sp1 no issues. when it comes to sp2 however it says my fsx needs to be in english. i can be very sure it is as im english and iv installed the game in english. i get this eroor shown in this image. also iv checked the microsoft site about the issue and it says to change the regedit file value. already done that still not working.

thank you for the reply this is were im stuck i dont seem to have the file HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games in the regedit drop down list.

hey all. so im trying to install fsx  buut coming up with a few issues. i think iv solved the first one buy cleaning the disk. now the second problem is. this error code "

then the game terminates and u have to place disk 1 back in for fsx to ask for disk 2. it gets to the direct x 9 part then that error happands. iv also looked on microsoft support and it says to close all microsoft services in msconfig. and also look for a file in reg edit called "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games" i cannot seem to find this folder.

so im kinda stuck on what to do now.

hi. basiclly when i fly and get to a certrain altitude the ground look all blury and crap! ill stat my pc specs below as im sure they can provide a better graphic performance then they do.

2 x gtx 260

AMD quad core 3.2 ghz (oc - 3.6ghz) water cooled.

8GB ram coirsar.

ah cheers. had it in my mind tht were armed just incase of engine failor or other emergence. with auto brake.

hey all, so this happend a few years ago when i was going thru the checklist all is good to go. advanced the thottles and then alarms ! it says speedbreak extended, but its just armed for take off. i dnt arm the SB anymore cos i know the outcome. but can this be fixed ?

hello everyone. so here is what id like to achive from this topic if possible. i would like to find the best programes that could make my sim more real. graphics based that is. now i use rex 2.0 but i think thats just for weather. i also use ground enivroment extreme europe. which helps lovley. is there any other programes i could buy that would make it look just that bit better. if you need my specs to help then here there are.

so basiclly i was watching the 747-400 ITVV video (EGLL _KSFO) and in the pre engine start up, the captain says. i see you have taken away ground power. is it okay to pressureize hydraulics, you then see the F/O presss a button on the overhead. what button does he press ? and what is he really doing ?.

thankyou for your answers. sorry to keep asking. i just saw it in a video once were a 777 was flying around auckland doing touch and goes. and it seemed on the nd they had a route they flew around the airfield and then landed with ils radios and speeds tabs. thank you again

hey guys. so this is what still gets me...i have just taken off from london heathrow with no destination set up in the fmc. just the v speeds flaps and the run way iv taken off from. no route...so now how do i land back at the same runway or diffrent runway. iv got the vor 113.6 in the vnav page and the course. but that dnt help me land.. how do i set up a landing now with ILS and the works. like entering speeds for the final and such..i just wanna fly around london for a bit then land back there.

Okay thank.you but how then.do i set up an approuch with no flight in the fmc how do i programme a landing with.no route like.touch.and.go but with ils landing

thank you for the reply. but i dnt want to follow a route. i just want to take off from an airprt fly around and around and just think erm okay lets just lanbd at this airport. i dnt want to input a route into the fmc like the legs page but when i want to land i would guess i neeed to enter thew landing info for tht airport. how do i do it on the random...example i take off from LHR fly east just because i want to lol at like 38000 and then choose any random ploace to land at.

so here is what i want to do but im not very sure how to. i would like to take off from an airport anyone dnt matter fly around with no destination in mind and then just land at a diffrent airprt. now i know how to set up a route fly that route lan d and do all the proper procidures but im not sure how i can do it by just jumping on board the 747 at say LHR fly around and then land at another random place. without a route..how do i do this...im thinking vor's <very hard to use in my mind.

okay so lets say i just want a plane white 737-800 from pmdg, do i do what that doc says and then save it ?

simple question, how do you paint a 737 i know u can download the programe thing but any more info on that ?

just been at the airport and also listning to tower and on some planes some small some larger they say line up back track. then the planes goes to the end of the runway turns around and goes. but others just turn at alpha 1 and take off.??
