1. I totally agree, setting the minimums when I fly into Denver is a pain.
2.
It is the outflow valve and on the ground it should be open. It controls the pressurization of the aircraft. On the ground it reverts to its full open position in order to depressurize the cabin. On take off at around 60 knots it closes and and begins to pressurize the cabin. With normal power it is controlled automatically through the DCPCS. See the DCPCS overhead panel below.

3. They are just using this aircraft for the initial testing of the new winglet. Although in the future they do plan to receive new 737s with the split scimitar winglets.
4. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Finally after a month of silence on the PFPX forums. I cant wait for this one.
5. Looks great! I cant wait to see her flying.
6. There are a lot of smaller airports in the US which do not necessarily close but ATC services are only available during the day. For instance KSFB, a hub for Allegiant Air, only has tower and ground from 0630 to 2300 local. IIRC all primary airports in the US are open 24/7.
7. That is what I would like to see.
8. I want to see the If Boeing made any changes to the overhead panel. The 737 overhead panel has remained virtual unchanged since the 1960s.
