you gotta close steam VR entirely and just start Flight Simulator normally. Theres a button on the menus that switches it to VR.

I'm on a reverb G2, steam edition of the sim. The controllers seem to do nothing, not sure how to switch from steam theater to actual VR lol... I see the game on the theater screen.

VR starts tomorrow! I wonder what time it will release?? I'm excited to get back into this sim. Been waiting months....

So his $8 addon lowers the input sensitivity, and then he calls it "Better physics" LOL.

I'm gonna get a VR headset for the new Simulator, cause it just seems like it'd be quite an experience. Do you feel like you have more control in VR? It seems like you'd be able to land better when you have that sense of depth, and feeling how close you are to the ground. Do you use one hand on the flight Joystick, and then one hand on the VR controller to turn knobs and stuff? I'm a bit confused, can u set down that VR controller to use a throttle or something?

I like the part where the IGN employee decides to cruise at 6,000 FT and then has to gain altitude mid flight to avoid crashing into some mountains lmao.

Ahhh vegas is mostly flat in that first IGN video. I wonder why that is, its just an image. Maybe it didn't load during the flight? The 6 difficult landings video looks really good tho.

Did they only give copies to people that know nothing about flying or what? Its been so painful watching the testers do 'Flights' without touching any buttons in the cockpit.

Yes it brought me back. Flying is a very visual thing, and I think the visuals are finally HERE now. Its very appealing looking, you'll be able to see real places out the window below, and the skies and weather looks insane.

I can't find that new airbus joystick anywhere except on their site. Its sold out everywhere. Its way overpriced on ebay, im not gonna pay double lol.

You are correct. Game pass for PC is only $1 your first month. Which means you can pay $1 and play this sim for an entire month, then $5 for each month after that. Pretty good deal. Not sure if the gamepass will come with all the premium aircraft and airports. Probably just the standard ones.

Which of these is higher quality? I was looking at screenshots on FSDTs website, and these airports look kinda outdated graphically. I want both of these airports, but is it worth buying right now, or are they planning on updating these airports? I read somewhere that KLAS is getting updated in the future sometime, so if I were to buy it now- would I get the updated version free when it comes out? Right now I have KPHX by Flightbeam, and the quality is so darn good that KLAS or KLAX might look un-appealing to me. So would it be best to wait on KLAS-KLAX to be updated to HD remakes? Maybe buy KDEN or KSFO instead for the meantime?

Guys $100 is not bad for an actual airbus in digital form. Physical Airbus = $98 Million Digital Airbus = $100 Yes they recreated the actual thing.

The case I picked, NZXT H440, is a mid tower case and has limited airflow. So I figured the liquid cooling would be more efficient for the setup. Should I spend an extra $20 and get the Corsair H100i instead?

Anyone know if this i 7 4770K will be necessary or if I can stick with the i5 4670K? The price ranges are very different so I assume the i7 makes a huge difference? Anyone know what I'd be missing out on? Aerosoft Airbus X is the best airbus in FSX as of today. Its not nearly as in good as the PMDG 777. Aerosofts Airbus is not something you can really train with, "Its for entertainment purposes". But it is still very fun to fly and it feels like an airbus, and it looks like an airbus, and only a professional could tell you otherwise. You can do real airline flights with it. The graphics are very nice also. FSLs airbus will be a real actual virtual airbus. Buy Aerosofts, then get FSLs bus later.

Yeah I agree they should keep it clean. I'd draw the line when they start editing the screenshots with photoshop, or adding effects and overlays in the promotional videos.
