RW plane crash survivor. My last 'store brand' bought PC was the IBM PS/2. Its micro-channel architecture and $5000 discounted price *for employees* including everything (IBM brand monitor, keyboard, mice, external floppy, printer, modem, $260 for math co-processor, etc.) taught me a lesson. Note to self: never, never ever buy anything that is bleeding edge, proprietary, and single sourced (looking at you Apple).
