Yeah, its ridicuIous. I stopped watching TV mostly and starting to get word not allowed off by YouTube too. They're drip dripping ads. Not long ago it was 5-15 seconds. Nowadays it's increasing. Some are for 30 seconds and then followed with 15 and another 5 second ad. Sometimes there are ads that can't be skipped too. Way back when... you paid for cable and everything in it was completely ad free. Not so now.

I am wondering why you have 'very bad performance on the ground'. Do you have any benchmarks for the airport eg. I'm getting about 30 fps in mine using an i7-8700k, 3060ti, 32 GB RAM, NVME drive with FSRealistic and Just Flight's Traffic running in the background.

Apologies. My signature needs to be updated. I have a 3060ti running with the steam version of MSFS Premium Deluxe. P.S. A mystery to me..... my i7-8700K runs MSFS fine. In very busy airports such as KSFO with Just Flight Traffic, Turbo Arrow, FSRealistic and GAIST ships running in the background as examples, it gets about 30 fps with negligible stuttering lasting a second or two in one place. I'm not exactly sure why others pay the big bucks to upgrade their CPUs to get higher fps. I figure maybe I'm just not one of those gifted with the ability to appreciate higher fps rates? Or maybe, others just don't know how to effectively balance and monitor their CPU and GPU settings...or I'm just missing something....

Just circling back to say the issue was resolved. I submitted a ticket to Steam. I don't know what they did or if they did anything but the plane became available in the Marketplace as a download when I looked again after waiting about 12 hours.

No. And I also searched for Cockspur to be sure I didn't miss it and the Content Manager couldn't detect any either. It's sounding like I'm ending up with the "Buy" option even though I selected the "Buy and Download" option.

What is the difference between the two? I have been avoiding the Marketplace but decided to jump in again to buy Cockspur's Mustang. At a hard-to-resist price of U$9.99, which is 63% off the regular price of $26.99, I figure it's worth it since Cockspur is still updating the aircraft (by the way the sale ends April 11 tomorrow my time). I bought selecting "Buy and Download". Got the screen caps to prove that I paid for it but I'm not able to download the plane. I hope it's just that the servers are being overloaded? Most of all, I am hoping this will be a hassle-free purchase and I don't have to deal with tech support. I'll try again later. I guess Marketplace hasn't changed that much. It's probably still best to avoid purchasing there as much as possible if other better options are available.

Yes, and that's exactly what I did. The end result? Artifacts on MY system. And based on my experience, fixing "bugs" oftentimes results in other bugs. In other words, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

No. The livery selection in both are completely different so it would be like comparing apples to oranges. I'm happy with P3D v4.5 with the Learjet v3. Everything in the version works as designed eg. radar.

I hope JYW doesn't mind my borrowing his thread title, but it's exactly what I have in mind too except that it's for the Cockspur Mustang, and I couldn't think of a better one at the moment. Why re-invent the wheel right? 🙂 I couldn't find any change logs since the Mustang's release over a year ago. It's on sale at an offer that's hard to refuse in the Marketplace (63% off). Do all the buttons and switches work? Is the manual available for download? Does the keyboard work? Autopilot? Is it still being supported and updated? Thank you.

I'm not a pilot or a dev. But what exactly is 'inertia' in aviation? Again, I'm not a pilot, but when you apply brakes, and there is a very slight delay in the plane before it actually halts to full stop, isn't that delay also inertia? If that is the case, couldn't the slight delay or inertia be coded in flight sims? Thanks.

All of the liveries described as having a white color looked like they have a dark shade ("XP Gates Learjet 25 v4 Basic - (CHE) White, Red and Gold") in comparison to the white theme liveries in previous versions eg. "XP Gates Learjet 25 v3 - Classic Panel - Paint # 21".

I have both in P3D. FSW's 35 is good but just preferred the XP's 25 with its 330+ page manual, sound, and cockpit layout --4 diiferent panels including the one below. Every single button works unlike in the Longitude.

What do you use to monitor and balance the CPU and GPU load?

I'm waiting for Xtreme Prototype's Learjet 25 which will be available in MSFS. It's a very fast fighter jet masquerading as a bizjet and a high workload aircraft with lots of non-boring things to do eg. spoilers, reverse thrust, lots of dials to check, etc..
