Works now, here's what I did: 1. Install P3D, test airport selection, fail, uninstall P3D + leftovers (AppData, ProgramData, Documents), reboot. 2. Install P3D, test airport selection, fail, uninstall P3D + leftovers (AppData, ProgramData, Documents), reboot. 3. Install P3D, test airport selection, succeed. Literally had to try and install it three times. Software is weird.

Both OP's and my installation were fresh (OP: "P3D is vanilla with no addons installed at all. Frehsly new."). On my system P3D has never been installed before, since I completed the build this afternoon. No addons have been installed on this system, ever. Unfortunately deleting everything related to P3D doesn't resolve the issue. I will play around some more at a later time.

I'm having the same issue. Have you installed the October update (version 1809)? And, apart from installation directory, AppData Local/Roaming, ProgramData and folders in Documents, what have you deleted when you say 'EVERYTTHING'? Thanks!

Than something is seriously wrong with your settings. I have 16GB of RAM, i5 4670K 4.0GHz and 2GB 770GTX. Testing the 777 at ORBX's KJAC I get 25-27 frames in the VC and 40-60 in external view. REX 2048 clouds, AS2012 10 cloud layers (haven't tested a higher value yet), 8xS AA, 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling and 16 AF. LOD Radius on 5.5 and max texture load on 4096. Haven't had a single OOM yet (doesn't mean I will never get them). I suggest starting out with a fresh FSX install and cfg. EDIT: I see you have an i7-2600. I have no knowledge of this CPU, so maybe someone else could tell you if your CPU might be the culprit.

My current PC (not the specs on my profile page) can't run the 777 or the NGX as I want it to, that's why I'm building a new system (specs on profile page). But I'd like to read the manuals before I fly the bird, and AFAIK you can only get the manuals by installing the plane.

Hey all, First of all I hope all of you are having a great time with the T7. I can not install this lady yet, since I'm waiting for my new computer parts to arrive. But there is one thing I really would like to see in a screenshot. If I remember correctly you can change some of the lightning colors using RGB values. Now I was wondering if anyone could change the overhead lights, the green lines you can see running all over the panel, to this color: R: 35 G:156 B: 232 (HEX#: #239CE8) Would be nice if someone could take a screenshot with those RGB values. Ah I should have said that I am already a proud owner of this yoke and an extra throttle quadrant. Also purchased FSUIPC and configured everything. I'm truly having a blast with this piece of hardware. Thanks for the replies! I will simply mark my reply as the answer but all of you have helped me!

Let's not forget that this is day 1 for PFPX, I'm sure things will be straightened out and improved in the future.

Price is perfect. Just finished looking around and filed a delivery flight from KPAE to OMDB via EHAM. I am honestly impressed by this this beautiful piece of software. If you are an immersion freak, like me, and want to do everything as real as it gets than this is a must have IMO.
