  1. These QUICK LOOK videos are very short videos made using P3D4 flight simulator. This one looks at the newer version (1.10) of Bilbao Airport LEBB by ORBX Simulation Systems.
  2. John and Jay, Thanks for you input. I am using VoxAtc 7.42 and I do have a CereProc voice as the MS default voice. I submited a request to VoxAtc but no reply as of yet. Are they "off the air" so to speak? Interesting side note: my brothers and sister went to Manuel High School in Brooklyn that was renamed John Jay High because of the terrible reputation it gained. You guys have a great reputation!😀
  3. Hello I have VOX-ATC assigned with SAPPI 5.01 voices only from CereProc. I expanded my voice set from 6 voices to 9 voices. After adding the newer voice sets, I find that in a high resource scenery area the voices stop working. This occurs after I am switchedover to monitor the tower. Please note that this is not “THE FATAL ERROR" that VOX-ATC gives. The writing continues to give the correct commands but the voices completely stop working. If I then check the voices in Balabolka or Microsoft Text To Speech I get an error: “Can not synthesize the speech: OLE error 80045017”. I have to reboot the computer, Windows 10, in order to get the voices working again. According to CereProc it may be related to MSSQL that neither text to speech apps use. Does anyone know if VOX-ATC uses MS SQL? Is there a limitation on the number of SAPPI 5.01 voices one can use in VOX-ATC? Thanks in advance for any assistance! -Rich

  9. Anyone know if Flightbeam will have an upcoming "sale" on their products, Mayday, Mothers day, Fathers day... any ole day sale.😉. I know they won't have it on this new release but I'm looking to get KPDX and EDDN on sale. Last time they had an "over the pond sale" but only offered airports I already had.. One reasons to love ORBX they have sales and offer Senior Discounts for items not on sale!

  12. 1. May the grass grow long on the road to hell for want of use. 2. Bless your little Irish heart and every other Irish part. 3. May the Lord keep you in His hand and never close His fist too tight. 4. May the Good Lord take a liking to you — but, not too soon. 5. May you be half an hour in Heaven before the Devil knows your dead. 6. When I count my blessings, I count you twice. May God bless you. 7. May your troubles be as few and as far apart as my Grandmothers teeth. 8. May you die in bed at ninety-five years, shot by a jealous husband. 9. Here’s to your coffin! May your coffin have six handles of finest silver! May your coffin be carried by six fair young maids! And may your coffin be made of finest wood from a 100-year-old tree, that I’ll go plant tomorrow! 10. As you slide down the banisters of life may the splinters never point the wrong way. 11. May the saddest day of the future be no worse than the happiest day of your past. 12. May you live to be a hundred years, with one extra year to repent. and Sláinte agus táinte! (Health and wealth!)
  13. Just for fun and an experiment of sorts! I used both ProAtc/X and Vox-Atc in an IFR flight from Sun Valley to Yellowstone airports with an Embraer Phenom 300. Hope you enjoy the video.
  14. I have a "hardware" solution to the radio sound effect. I use (don't laugh John) a sheet of polystyrene foam ( my handle is polymerman) on my earpieces and my mike and it makes the (excuse the expression)the "tinkle" sound of a radio comm. On the mike i fold a piece and tape with scotch tape. I adjust the tube so i get the right sound by trial and error, see attached picture.
  15. A previous video was of a Helicopter and VFR VOX-ATC flight. This is a similar flight but IFR in a BlackHawk. Hope you enjoy my videos and I welcome views, comments and likes!
  16. Thanks Zabri for the information and tips. Nice to know someone in AVsimland is a concerned simmerr.:) I was hoping GSX Level 2 would go on sale during the holidays. Until it does I'll wait it out. Have a great new year too!
  17. Hello Fellow Simmers, Reading this topic i wonder if there is a way before a flight to find out exactly what Jetways with GSX or Sode are actually woking? Often, I choose a gate either at departure or arrival and find the jetways aren't working at that stand. If anyone knows how to find working jetways, would you be so kind as to share that information.
  18. Old video I made but didn't edit. I added some piano music for your enjoyment.!
  19. Had the same issue after I turned on "Controlled folder access" in the "Virus & threat protection settings" of windows defender. So Larry (ibelarry) and anyone else, all you have to do is turn that feature off. Don't turn off windows defender just that feature,
  20. The first Thanksgiving (USA) took place in Virginia or Massachusetts. To celebrate I choose to fly from Plymouth in a turkey of a plane to visit Grandma on the isle of Nantucket. Lots of lightning strikes and beautiful cloud formations abound. Even one shaped like a dragon too! A piano Thanksgiving melody is background music.
