My point is 10 million users, maybe  0,1 % of them use navigraph, how the hell does that make navigraph the most popular? Its probably not even among the 1000 most popular addon among all those users. Unless you consider 0,1 % of users to be the only communety…. Maybe we like to think “we” are the communety, but after MSFS 2020 came about, the communety is way bigger than the few elitists here at avsim…

somone on here found the issue in 10 mins. again its not rocket science this to spend an hour or 2 testing with some addons.  this issues has plauged us in the community for over 10 years now,  the lack of basic testing on all addons, wether it be afcads, textures of fan blades, ils freq's, runway numbers etc .  its not difficult.

Out of the lets say 10 million MSFS users, how many of them actually have a Navigraph subscription? It maybe most popular to the hardest of the core, but I bet most MSFS users never even heard of it…

Im sure all this drama will settle in a few days and navigraph will fix it. I have a subscription myself, but I can live without it until fixed…

common sense says youd test your product with the 5 most popular addons in the community, namely fsiupc, gsx and navigraph.  Its not rocket science. It really isnt.

Thanks, I fixed that, should be good.

Keep in mind that I am NOT using an API so the data will start to get a little outdated. I will try to update it manually as often as possible but it will never be 100% accurate. I'll have to find a way to get the correct callsigns for easyJet.

The only way youll get the proper callsigns is from an easyJet employee with access to AIMS. Not to mention the winter schedule and shoulder seasons will also come into effect soon.

Thanks for the feedback but that's what the data is giving me. FlightRadar24 shows the same as well, from what I'm seeing.

    no worries more than welcome.

Flightradar is giving you the flightnumbers and the callsign.  Let me show you.

Todays  EGGD-LDDU is the U2 2893 which comes up on your database

Firstly.  easyJet do not have A321's  They have A321 NEOS.

Secondly the callsign isnt EZY2893 its EZY17HW

your website is giving you the flight number not the correct callsign.

In early 2000's the SA airport authorities basically wanted a suitcase of cash for access to the airport for research purposes.  This was Aerosoft's issue at the time, as well as others.   South African corruption reached as far as the flightsim world.

The Gaffer version really was not bad, but the iniBuilds version looks great.

im aware of that erich, when i was in flightplanning we used to get a once month or so AFTN from the authorities in SA telling us we owed them nav fees (when we didnt) and we couldnt operate unless we transferred by western union 10000 USD.  We just used to ignore it.

Looks great. I have Gaffer Sim version which as of now is by far the best FAOR rendition in MSFS history. My home base, so I should know. Hoping this will be even better. Also hoping they got the elevated embankment on the approach threshold of 03R correct. Gaffer did not quite nail that. Certainly looks good from the video and extends a little beyond the airport itself (Airways Park and Emperors Palace (casino and entertainment complex adjacent to the airport). Probably a buy for me.

    lekka man.

Every time i do my obligitory supernumary flight for work, I normally pick Joburg. I love the place, and no i dont go for the cheap botox !!

That’s a bloody long flight from America or Europe.

night flights down and back for most,  plenty of crew rest 🙂

not mention it keeps claiming the careers of foolish BA pilots.

Jokes aside great to finally have a good Joey, theres also some good freeware city stuff at FLIGHTSIM.TO.

they need to do Lagos next.

I'm not aware of a data source, unless you're pulling flight numbers that day, that would give 100% accurate ICAO callsigns. They are randomly generated for lack of dupes, no?

Will still never understand why this is so messed up in Europe. We use 4 digits, operate way more flights, and nearly never use alphanumeric!

they have inputted into the eurocontrol callsign validator to make sure theres no conflict with similar callsigns.

the reason its "messed up" in europe is because you have 22 member states of easa/eurocontrol all with their own airspaces.  Its not like in america where you have a huge land mass with a few firs under FAA rules.

    Hi all!

The airlines below have been added.

    • easyJet
    • Lufthansa
    • Allegiant

    https://iflyschedules.com/

    Cheers!

easyjet use alpha numeric callsigns, as well as some flight numbers with 4 digits.

They do not use EZY123, nor EZY321 with only 3 letters.

so im afriad your easyJet data is using the iata flight numbers, and not the correct callsigns.

    My conclusion:

    Pros:

Price completely ok for this hub

Looks great (I also really like it at night)

The hype about FRA has multiplied again on VATSIM 🙂

    Cons:

Performance (As soon as I switch on vPilot = connect, the frames drop below 30FPS - then unfortunately it becomes very jerky (I have deactivated everything that works plus no double scenery)

I'm (still) hoping for improvements in this regard - so I'm currently sticking with the freeware from ORBX (as sorry as I am for that, but it's currently unflyable for me),

    lg

    Markus

how can it be a pro if you cant use it with vatsim,  and you are using the freeware from orbx.  you just bought a product you cant use pretty much.

its no wonder the standard of addons is so low when you read stuff like this. we are doomed.

one can only hope in time it sorts itself out although with MSFS 2024 so close I doubt there will be much focus on fixing bugs from MS/ASOBO.

they wont.  id be quite happy to wager with anyone whos up for it 10 pounds to a charity of their choice that we will get even more server issues once ms2024 drops.  This is about money nothing else.  They could of fixed the server issues months/years ago by investing in them, but they havnt, they dont want to invest the money in it.

It speaks volumes.  Ms2024 will be no different, youll see

It's a shame how polluted the marketplace has become with so much garbage! Probably more than 50% of the stuff on it is garbage!

An easy way for supposed developers to fleece people.

you reap what you sow, as a community we have let this happen over the last 10 years by accepting and embracing unfinished tacky products.

dont blame the player, blame the game.

    Define 'correctly'.

Do you reach 30W between the active track hours of 0100z to 0800z?

If not, the track isn't valid anymore and you'll see that message.

At the planning stage, the system won't know what time you'll reach 30W so it's impossible for it to know if it's valid or not. It's only when you actually generate the plan that it figures it out and then tells you.

Correct well done.   It's also the same the other way too.
