See the thread posted recently by Nick Caldwell - a few of us are having a problem with it, and not just fsuipc saves. Should be on the page 2 of this forum.

    I checked the thread out....

Would be nice to hear something from PMDG regarding the nature of this issue. I hear P3DV4.1 is coming soon, I wonder if there is some collaboration between PMDG and Lockheed Martin taking place to resolve these issues.

Did you check on fsuipc forum? If p3d save works and fsuipc does not this looks like fsuipc issue

If you look at the last post in this thread, Pete Dowson (the creator of FSUIPC) says it is not a problem with FSUIPC.

PMDG are aware of this problem with the 747 and are working to fix it. You need to keep an eye on the PMDG forum. It is not an FSUIPC matter, PMDG have assured me of this.

I bought the 747 QOTSII right when it came out - for FSX.

I got rid of FSX and got P3Dv4 since then. I'm not really excited about having to spend that much money again (well, even more than the FSX license actually) I support 3 people and basically live paycheck to paycheck. Anyway that's not my point with this post however, my point is that I definitely won't be purchasing the P3D license for the QOTSII until this problem is fixed. I don't understand why it is taking months to figure it out. (yes, I see it's in the sticky about current issues with the 747)

    So I wait.

Is there any new information about the progress on fixing this? Thanks in advance to anyone that can share some new information. I gotta say I am really anxious to get back to flying this thing but as I said, there's no point in me buying it (again....) till the problem is resolved.

  3. Hey there. I bought the 407 right after it came out. I was able to use it when it was initially released, then I downloaded SP2, uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and went in the Menu Manager and set all the paints' configs up like I wanted (all the options, tan panel, cold and dark) (I also did this whole process again with SP2F just now) and when I load up, the helo is running, but all the switches are in the off position. My preferences as far as wire cutters, frahm damper and pilot figures have been ignored. For the sake of experimentation I tried cycling the main fuel valve switch and nothing happened. I hit CTRL-SHIFT-F1 and the engine cut. Then I moved the battery switch to "ON" and that turned the battery off. It seems that all the switches are backwards. Essentially I can't use this thing with it like this..does anyone know what could be wrong?

Feel free to ask anything you need to know....

    Thanks,

  4. Hey there. I bought the 777 and I have to say, it's phenomenal. I absolutely love it.

    I have a question though.

Back in May of this year, there was a preview screenshots thread where there was talk about the bluing agent on the engines' exhaust cones when you have new engines, and how it turns the normal color over time and eventually develops sooting.

I was wondering, is there a menu somewhere that is keeping track of the hours on these engines? Is it a persistently tracked system like A2A's Accusim? If I felt so inclined, how can I get new engines with these blue exhaust cones, and can I watch the blue fade over time eventually to black? I'm also wondering if the effect of "dirty" engines is modeled where they emit more black smoke when "dirty".

    I'm really curious about this.

    Thanks!
