  1. NO Gauges in VC?? PROJECT OPENSKY BOEING 777-200 v2 Virtual Cockpit builder: Jacob Kubique
  2. Another way to search for Duplicate AFCADS is to use AFX, Start up AFX Then do a search for your airport in AFX once the results are shown there should be a Stock KALB and a Mod Connect AFX to your sim and Click on either MODS to see wich one higlights your ghost AFCAD At times you get 2 Mods and 1 stock . Remember to click From FSX in AFX This program works for bothFS9-FSX
  3. Yes as i mentioned above As far as anti-alising goes ive always enabled this through my Video card Drivers Never through default FS9 In My case cause i happen to be using ATI Graphics Card i would enable this through the Catalyst Controller Not FS9 Example pictures below. Instead Enable it through your Video Cards Setting im ATI So i use Catalyst Controller
  4. Not sure wich Scenery your using For JFK But if your using Default JFK it shouln't Lag, Im running JFK From FS Dream team and still get about 25-30FPS . As far as anti-alising goes ive always enabled this through my Video card Drivers Never through default. Considering your System is sharing Memory through the board due to the inter-graded Video graphics adapter it can degrade performance but not by much considering u have a total of 4gb. I don't believe merging aircraft's causes Decrease on framrates and yes ive heard many people use the Nvidia Inspector utility to modify their FS9 CfG And gain some performance. Im not an NVIDIA user so not sure how well it works. I've had GE-PRO At one point and did notice Frame rate drop using GE-Pro i now use FSCENE But i also hear Silver Wings (slvrwngs.zip) make good ground textures and has no Frame rate loss Link here>>>>http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=14602332 Theres is another option ORBX ground textures converted for FS2004 is nice as well Intel Core 2duo E7500 2.9Ghz 8GB DDR2 System memory ATI Radeon 6750 1gb PCI Express Expansion card Windows 7 64bit
  5. When EZ Scenery Creates your BGL Place your newly compiled BGL In the Fly tampa folder's Scenery folder, Example: If i were to be adding my own Scenery objects for Fly-Tampa Miami i would place the bgl In F:\FS9\Addon Scenery\FlyTampa-Miami\scenery See if that helps I find myself creating scenery quite alot u can also add the scenery BGL's within your Addon Scenery/Scenery but i like to keep things clean so i usually place them in the active scenery folder within the airport im editing. Most likely your BGL Was not in an active scenery folder or the priority is not in the right
  6. I have no issues with ADE Certainly no performance loss just by coding Parking spots. Not sure why this would effect your FPS most likely their are certain objects that can be causing the Performance loss
  7. Ive uploaded a revised version of the zip with the readme.txt still nothing i pm'd you the info
  8. Ok ihave comfirned it, Meshman is correct LWMV2 Does not work for FSX Only FS9 My apologies Jtwhite
  9. I believe this is the third party program you have installed on your system thats not default http://www.megasceneryearth.com/store/cart.php?page=Announcing_MegaScenery_2_0 Opps sorry about that, i wasnt sure what version Simulator he was using weatherr it was FSX or FS9 My apologies Im not sure if LWMV2 Works with FSX but im sure it does and will still find default bgl's for FSX i could be wrong i bealive hes just trying to open a bgl that not default like you said AND I mentioned above Megascenery is a 3rd party program If indeed LWMV2 works with FSX i(I have FSX but never did compare) I think it will still be helpfull in helping him find the default BGL'S for wichever region he is in, hes simply trying to open the wrong BGL
  10. Mega scenery i dont beleve is default this does not read third party Scenery like Mega Scenery the ones that LWM viewer reads are just Default scenery BGLS Mega Scenery is an addon B) I just did a complete search on my Flight simulator's Instlation for both FS2004 and FSX and this MegaScenery.bgl doesnt Exist you may have installed this separately Mega scenery is all photo textures i believe that overlay as a texture for the tiles If you wish to find wich default bgl's, the ones LWMV2 pull up that read HP,HL,RR,RD,ST, are the ones your after Also if you uncheck them from the LWMV2 Results you will see what BGL file is being disabled in a specific location by viewing the map display in LWMV2. Example if you uncheck ABXXXXXX You will see the Airport bases in that area disappear (Note it wont effect the sim this is only a reference) Or if you uncheck HPXXXXXX You will see the water class disappear same goes for ST,RR,And RD'S and even landclass In the manual it even explain how to change the texture in each LOD13 Tile using the Built in Land-class Editor and even how to place Objects I've changed textures to land class using the Landclass editor many times in many places LWMV2 Will then generate a Raw and,INf file that u can use with BGLCOMP from the terrainn SDK to compile a new BGL that you can then place in an active Scenery directory usually Addon scenery/scenery
  11. Heres a couple of screens that will help you find the BGl's quickly
  12. Roger. this one will list the actual Bgl's For example it will list all the HP,HL,PK,AB,RR.RD Ect Ect along that area, for example on that last screenshot i now know that the BGL's for the KIND Area are HP925170=Waterclass HL925170=Shore Lines PK925170=Parks AB925170=Airport Base RR925170=Rail Roads RD925170=Roads ST925170=Streams So any BGL's under the Main X:\FS9\Scenery\Name\Scenery XX926170.BGL will be the ones to look for. I have UT USA and have encountered Double shoreline issues and missing lanclass do to BGL conflicts and this utility had helped me find them and fix them i dont know what i would have done without it its a great utility. Be sure to read the manual theirs alot of other things u can do with LWM Viewer if ever you wish to it does more then just find the BGL'S You can also edit Land-class place objects ect ect. you can even see the entire fs2004 map on the display. Two ways you can zoom in and out of the LWM Viewer Map. 1,) Place the aircraft into slew mode and press F3 to rise slowly from the ground or F4 to do it quickly 2.) Once your connected and have selected follow mode and the map is displayed in LWM Viewer simply untick Follow mode and Use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out One more thing, once you get the BGL name you dont have to go to the directory manualy to find it for example you can just Right click on one of the BGL'S listed and select show in explorer and it will find it and open the containing folder for you
  13. Here's The link http://www.jimkeir.co.uk/FlightSim/LWMViewer2.html Once in the page select the following
  14. LWMVIEWERV2 will show you wich Bgl's cover that area Screenshots Below Firsly go to the location you wish to go Use LWMViewer2 and follow the steps i provided in the Screenshots below It will list all BGL files that are in the area your in
  15. Yes your correct Joe i was just pointing this out in case he can use it for future reference B) I've also provided other methods he can use with payware and freeware earlier screenshots in this post, i know ive used Airport Studio and AFX in FS9 to exclude autogen Trees from the Tarmac before guess is different in FSX if hes having issues
  16. I agree shore makes editing allot easier once you learn how to use them B)
  17. Its a good thing i only made 2 islands so far lol i will append the second VTPL on miniloc as well and re-generate a new bgl
  18. Reverse Button that i dint know lol ill take a look thanks   Unbelievable how the simplest things can cause the biggest problems thanks Jim that worked perfectly, not only are the waves going in the right direction now but i dont get the high waves anymore Killed two birds with one stone. I was reading the PDF how to create an island that came with S-Builder and it dint even mention anything about the reverse ,in fact there Screenshot under the shoreline settings doesn't even have a reverse perhaps they never updated this PDF LOL
  19. Hey once again still learning here lol, So i manged to learn how to Exclude Coast LInes in Sbuilder and how to create new ones, ive been reading the manual quite alot everything is good ecept the waves there going the opposite way of the newly created coastline and i see some waves that are pretty high all all around the island?? Will be posting a screen in a few can someone tell me what im doing wrong
  20. If your not sure exactly whats causing the issue and remember when was the last time FS9 was running properly you can always run a quick System Restore and bring the pc back to a date when FS9 was running properly other then that this looks like some type of corruption perhaps something in the FS9 modules folder.
  21. In Sbuilder u can do the following to create an exclude polygon this is how its done in FS9 ive never tried it with Sbuilder x but just in case this might help (Im assuming you know how to connect SBuilder to your sim and Show aircraft location)
