  1.  I purchased the Air Manager for iPad this morning and I am getting nowhere fast. I designed a basic, generic panel intending on trying the app out. Now what do I do? How do I assign the panel to an aircraft? How do I select that panel? How do I save that panel? I think I could get hooked on this app once I figure it out. Is there any step-by-step guide for designing and loading my designs? I am able to connect to the sim (p3d) easily and have loaded the Sim innovation drivers. Any assistance appreciated!

      Hi.Congratulations!

If you run the sim and then start Air Manager, whatever panel you have on the screen should be active. Panels are automatically saved when you make them.

To go full screen with your panel, click on Hide Menu. To get the menu back, swipe the screen to the right. It's a bit touchy so you might have to do it a few times.

To make a new panel, swipe to bring up the menu and instruments, then click on the + symbol at the top. Then you can select a blank screen to design your own panel, or choose one of the pre-made ones. The small symbols on the right tell you what sims they will work with. This is the same for the instruments. There are some instruments and panels that only work with certain sims, so be careful. I made a whole panel once to use with P3D and then realized that I used a bunch of X-plane only instruments!

Once you select a panel or blank, if you press edit in the upper square you can change the name of the panel, the background color and the brightness. Then just tap on the instrument you want and it will appear on the blank screen. Resize by pinching  Reposition by dragging. You have a search function above the instruments so you can search for a certain type of instrument if you want, such as airspeed indicator, altimeter, etc.

Once you have it the way you want it, hide the menu. Fire up the sim and it should connect if you have the PC client installed. If not, try running the sim first and then Air Manager.

      Hope this helps!
