    There are some real 787 drivers who think it's pretty good. And they have no reason to be conflicted in their opinion. But we all measure flightsim with different yardsticks. For some, 'good enough' is pretty good. For others, 'good enough' isn't nearly good enough. For me, I think it's 'good enough' in a good way, but the awful rotation behavior killed the immersion. I will revisit the setup as noted above and give it another go.

    100% this. I love the global weather model in the default MSFS. I know it isn't perfect, bujt unless ASFS adds anything additional (I'm not interested in historcial weather) to the accuracy of weather depiction, I am also not keen on running addtional apps. No doubt they will be charging a small fortune for the app too as there are a number of people desperately wanting historical weather.

    I always thought it was nonsense that you could see the difference. Now that I finally have a system which can do 60fps, with ease, in all situations, I've realised that you definitely can see the difference.

    Yup, I got the same processor and a similar card. Its a night/day difference.

    So many airlines are now flying the MAX. I am definitely looking forward to the more 'modern' 737 cockpit representation and longer haul capability. I have never bought any of iFly's products but I may just buy both the PMDG and iFly versions this time around.

    As annoying as it is, it's simply good business. Most flightsim folks (here) have poor impulse control when it comes to new and shiny premium products. Now that his model is to sell everything separately and not force you into buying everything if you don't want, of course it makes sense to offer the least desirable first. Chances are pretty, prettyy good that it'll be snapped up anyway.
