  1. I have created the Maritimes and Southern Ontario using FSEarthTiles for myself. The detail available is fairly good. The problem is I don't know if I'm allowed to upload it and if I can it's over 150gb.
  2. It's an escape from the stress of daily life to immerse myself into the virtual flying world.
  3. Same for me. Once resized it stays that way. Odd though, I've never had one go full screen immediately, only when I accidentally make it bigger.
  4. You can move them but you will have to change the location in your FS scenery list.
  5. Active Sky for v4 has a beta update you can download. So far no problems for me.
  6. I guess the lack of response probably answers your question but why not make it yourself using FSEarthTiles? I've been doing the Philippines and it's quite easy if you are not concerned about water masks.
  7. Dougal thanks for starting this discussion. I have enabled and gone through the error log and fixed allot of "bugs" in my P3Dv4. UT Traffic had a few duplicate keys for one. I learned allot in the last hour or so including RAASPRO is 32 bit version in my install of PMDG's 737ngx. I disabled it as I'm not paying for the 64 bit version that I won't use anyhow.
  8. GPU. its the bottleneck with your current setup.
  9. Try FSEarth Tiles. I've been using it to create photo scenery for Newfoundland and it's working really nice. Looking forward to seeing London, btw. I live in Toronto.
  10. FSX's airport database is 10+ years old. RPVI has moved from it's original location near the coast to inland in order to expand the city's metropolitan district (and for noise reasons I'm sure, too).
  11. Here's what worked for me by adding scenery to P3Dv4 using the interface (not the developers installer): Toposim Europe, Asia SceneryTech Landclass Asia Pacsim RPLL. Italy Photoreal (Italy and France tested) Other: JF Air Hauler 2 (started a new company, selected P3D and pointed to v4 folder's exe) worked. Saitek Yoke and Throttle quadrant worked fine. Here's what didn't work using the developer's installer: Carenado B1900D and Navajo. Installed ok but the instrument panel textures did not display and the mixture control kept going to mixture off whether using Saitek quadrant or keyboard input.
  12. Same here. Very annoying. I haven't bothered to check lately because it takes longer each day to go through the list.
  13. Try Worldwide Virtual. There are no limits to where and what you can fly. Once you've got some flights done you will find out what appeals to you and you can stay with WWV or move on to one more suited to your tastes. http://www.worldwidevirtual.net/club/default.aspx
  14. I bought it. I can't believe the poor graphics on the Air Canada building, for example. FS9 like is right, maybe even FS2002. I went back to the FlyTampa version. It's older but far superior to Blue print in terms of graphics quality. I'm really disappointed. Oh well, you win some you lose some.
  15. i2500k and TI 650 boost. I can get 40 fps or higher with unlimited but then the blurries are bad, really bad. So I lock it at 22 - 25 in P3D, depending on the area detail, and don't get blurries.
