  1. Please reply with any suggestions/wishes for Panel Builder Add-On Instruments. From this we can gauge interest in particular aircraft types.
  2. The Panel Builder A2A C172 Add-On does work with P3D. Just download the latest version from our website after the purchase. See here: https://www.simplugins.com/html/info.html#A2AC172 Yes, we would add more if the demand is there. The A2A C172 has been good for us. If there is a demand for other A2A models we can release a version.
  3. We have done this for some of our aircraft add-on instrument sets, but not on the standard annunciators. I'll add this feature as an improvement request for one of our next version updates.
  4. We don't do any sounds, this would normally come from the simulator. There probably is a 'test switch' function you could map a key to in your sim (within FSX,P3D,FSX).
  5. Did you read what it says when you get "INVALID USB PORT"? Its written right on the page with the devices in the Elite Interface where it tells you INVALID SUB PORT. It looks like you plugged them into a USB 3 port on your computer. You need to go to the Network Page and under Elite Interface Settings select 'Open ELITE Devices using Elite Device Serial Number'. Then restart your computer. This is only necessary on Windows 7. All Windows Version greater then 7 do not have this issue.
  6. Yes, there was a bug. It will be fixed in t he upcoming Version 2.97 Update.
  7. OK, I understand. We'll see what we can do for the next major version of Panel Builder (started planning phase and design).
  8. At this stage it needs to be set at 100%. We are investigating a solution for the next version of Panel Builder. Can you explain what text you would need to read? The gauges can be resized to read them accurately.
  9. It needs the Autopilot mode set to at least FD mode (or Autopilot on).
  10. Yes, you need to go the link above and update your add-on.
  11. There is an update available for the PC7 Add-On. It contains a 2nd AOA gauge for FSX/P3D. You can download the update from our updates section, https://www.simplugins.com/html/inst_add_ons.html
  12. What Panel Builder Interface are you using? simPlugins FSX (simconnect) or simPlugins FSUIPC?
  13. As I mentioned before, the 'normal' FSUIPC Interface for Panel Builder will NOT work. You need to use the FSUIPC for DodoSim Interface. I suggest you run the installer for Panel Builder for Dodosim and select to install the FSUIPC Interface. The Panel Builder for Dodosim is not an add-on, it is a full product. So therefor you need to install Panel Builder AND an Interface. On a networked system, you need to do this on the computer with P3D installed.
  14. Our Panel Builder for Dodosim 206 uses the FSUIPC Interface only. The FSUIPC Interface that is installed connects to both FSX or P3D. There is a shortcut for it on the desktop called 'simPlugins FSUIPC Dodosim'. You need to use this Interface when you are using Panel Builder for Dodosim. When starting the Interface, it also starts the Dodosim utility to inject the correct values into FSUIPC (DodoSim206ExportIPC). Make sure this program is started after pressing connect (make sure you check 'Enable Dodosim 206').
  15. You need to make sure that both computers run the same Windows Regional/Language setting.
  16. Yes, it might. Add-on aircraft can create custom datarefs, but in my experience it is less frequent than in FSX. It is also easier to modify our X-Plane Interface to use the custom datarefs instead of the standard datarefs.
  17. We are currently re-writing our Simconnect P3D Interface. Please use our P3D FSUIPC Interface in the meantime.
  18. I just tested the flaps with Panel Builder 2.96, P3D 3.2. All Flaps indicators work. Tested with simPluginsPrepar3DV3 Interface.
  19. The annunicators in the PMDG products are very likely internal to PMDG and are not available for interfacing (using our standard interfaces). This is also the case for many other add-on aircraft, for example the A2A range of products. We have created a custom interface for example for the A2A C172 Add-on.
  20. Yes, it works with P3D V3.2. What simPlugins Interface are you using? What else has changed in your setup. There were no networking changes in PB 2.96
  21. You are not doing anything wrong. We are receiving all values from FSX by using the standard FSX Variables. Many add-on aircraft use custom local panel variables (LVARs) to show a different value to what is exported from FSX. This is a similar problem than this post: http://www.avsim.com/topic/483834-aerosoft-twin-otter-engine-instruments/ Have a look there it will give you more information.
  22. Cab you try ti disable any network adapter you are not using? Are there any Bluetooth adapters installed?
  23. In many cases aircraft add-ons have their own calculation for displaying engine instruments and do not match what FSX sends out via simconnect or fsuipc. There are local instrument variables that are available for each aircraft that could be used to send the correct data to Panel Builder. the variables are called LVARs and you need to them their names to get to them. We do this for example in our A2A C172 add-on to get the correct engine instrument values. But this requires a lua script to get to them and put them back into fsuipc. There are some posts in this forum from users who have done this. Here are some links: http://www.avsim.com/topic/421036-panel-builder-and-the-a2a-simulations-c172/ http://www.avsim.com/topic/415890-working-with-the-da20-100-katana-4x-by-marcel-felde/
  24. If you have a local LAN adapter and WiFi, you have at least 2 network cards. Have you tried a cabled connection? We recommend a cabled connection over a WiFi Connection in any case because of possible lag issues. In the adapter list, make sure your WiFi connection is on the top if you want to use WiFi.
