I manage 5 professional licence installations of your 32 bit G1000 software and experience the following crashes across all 5.

When selecting Activate Leg on the first waypoint of an arrival procedure, the software freezes and then crashes P3D v3. I assume this is happening as your software doesn't transition between procedures as it should do. We have updated a couple of the sims to the latest installer on your website still with the same results. While we have learnt to live with the sequencing behaviour by using DTO in many cases, it is frustrating when our students attempt to activate legs as they should be able to and have their whole session grind to a halt.

Any advice or assistance you can offer would be appreciated thanks.

I landed there this morning in real life can confirm no issue 😀

I think this can be changed to a single click somewhere in the settings from memory

Left click the knob then right click the knob

This was done in Nov 2020 so may or may not be as relevant now with latest Sim Updates.

Sorry for your bad experience but there are hundreds of satisfied customers here on this forum. The software is the best available and very good value. Yes they use the Flight1 wrapper which is a little confusing but you should be able to get this sorted. The company owner is very helpful and works very hard updating his products whenever there is a trainer update.

Same problem here I just had to configure everything again including all my joystick settings! 

The splash screen is a result of an update to windows gaming services. If it is not showing check windows store updates.

I am a little confused by this also. After updating to SU9 which appeared to work flawlessly, a couple of days latter I noticed in the content manager that I had to manually select 2 updates - one for Standard and one for Premium Delux. I dont understand this.

Have you set the DI off the magnetic compass? Are they the same.

Yes also flying the new US discovery flight after about 20 minutes I CTD.  Also ATC read out Ronald Regan International Airport all in phonetics which I quess maybe a known bug but I don't normally use ATC.

I got 1.2 to work eventually after pointing it all the way to C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore\fs-base\vegetation\10-asobo_species.xml.

I had to actually select the 10-asobo_species.xml file.

Good point  I think it came along with the 16.9 aspect ratio years ago.

All my undocked gauges appear in the same window. Any idea how to create multiple windows?

If I have a window undocked to another screen, for example the map, I have to click back on the main screen to bring the sim back into focus so that my controls start working again. Each time I loose my joystick I have to click back in the sim to make it work again.

How are things progressing for P3D v4 and v5?

This has been my experience also and as a small business owner I find it incredible that this type of interaction with their respective customer bases occurs. I have to say though that Pete Dowson has been incredibly helpful to so many people over the years and given so much. I have never found him to be rude. And people should RTFM as I am sure  that he spends countless unpaid hours assisting many people.

I have used Mobiflight to control Mindstar events before so it can be done. FSUIPC will do it using custom controls also. I currently use the G1000 but from memory the 530 works the same way. In Mobiflight add a button and then assign an event to that button. Mobiflight requires the event in decimal and the GNS.ini will require it in hex. An example is event 72458 assigned in Mobiflight will trigger AFCS_FLC=0X00011B0A in Mindstar. (This is an Autopilot function which is not what your after - You will need to replace the AFCS_FLC bit with the appropriate 530 control.

Sounds like you need to update the nav aids database. Google aero.sors and download the nav aids update. Working fine at my end - RXP GNS530 with current database and aerosors update.
