vEos Airlines makes surprise announcement Purchase, NY 11.22.2013 From their corporate headquarters vEos Airlines today announced their return to market after a 5 year hiatus. After going insolvent in 2008 the founder had this to say “Our concept was bullet-proof, it just wasn’t the right time, the market during the height of the recession couldn’t support a business class only airline.” it appears that has all changed though, vEos is indeed beginning operations again in Q1 of 2014. vEos will operate a fleet of 6 Boeing 757-200’s in a 48 seat configuration, all lie flat into a proper bed. Having two base of operations, Newark and Stansted, will bring the world of vEos to everyone. “We’re very excited to continue where we left off.” Background on vEos Based out of Newark and Stansted, vEos will operate flights from Boston, Washington, Paris, Zurich and later in Q2 routes will open up from Miami and Los Angeles. Our B752’s have all been retrofitted with Boeing’s blended winglet technology to optimize range and fuel economy.
