If you also have FTX Vector (v1.15), do not forget to run the Vector Configuration Tool AEC "auto configuration" step after installing the new ORBX regions so airport elevations will not get screwed up.

Maybe experiment with the P3D in sim settings for FXAA and MSAA... I use FXAA off and MSAA 4... MSAA 8 is even better for shimmering.
-
What scenery, mesh, and settings are you using?
-
but are you absolutely sure they are all good to go in P3DV2.2?
Rob, I posted in the ORBX forum under the payware section if they are officially ready to go...
An ORBX VIP and forum admin confirmed... good to go!
I am flying in all the regions fine and with good fps also. Plus the new downloads include all the previous patches.
-
I just re-downloaded Orbx PFJ, NRM, and CRM on my account from the Flightsim store and they all had the triple installers for P3DV2.2 and they all installed fine... Have not seen a formal announcement yet, but I am flying in them now... B)

On the shimmering/flickering in P3Dv2.x, I found the higher the in Sim MSAA setting the less shimmering... MSAA 8 was best but caused more of an fps hit than I wanted, so I settled on MSAA 4. Hopefully in later updates, more AA options will be effective thru the ATI and Nvidia tweak programs. In my case similar results of MSAA for both a Gigabyte Radeon HD7870 OC and more recently an upgrade to an Asus GTX780 3GB OC

FWIW, looks like 2.2 will be focused on the new features... maybe including the SLI and cloud shadows...
On the LM "Miscellaneous" thread titled "Big Thanks to Wes and LM Team"...

"Thanks all. We appreciate all the feedback, both good and bad, we're excited to get this patch out here soon, then start back up on some of the exciting new features for 2.2."

I have an i5-3570K and an ATI HD7870 and running Win 7 64bit... Here are my settings in a google doc file:

FWIW, here is how my install went.
I downloaded to my E: Drive which is a 1 TB WD Black 7200rpm SATA 6.
I unzipped to same E: drive with Winzip and it made a folder with the wrapper exe, a readme txt, and OrbxFTXGlobal110.2 thru 110.10.
I then clicked on the exe and install went w/o a problem. I installed to my P3Dv2 on my C: drive, a 512GB SSD with 126GB free space. The backup of textures also went to me E: drive and that directory is 4.62 GB and 8194 files. The size of my unzipped install files/folder on the E: drive is 4.61 GB for 11 files.
P.S. I saw where you had limited space on your C: SSD... Do you still have your windows paging/swap file there? I zeroed it out on my C: SSD and moved it to my E:. That saved me 8GB on C:. There are also folks running Windows w/o the page/swap file as it is usually not needed now days with so much RAM in our hardware.
Another way to save is if your browser in installed on your C drive. Cut down its cache area as sometimes this can use a lot of space.
Also you can limit the size of SystemRestore (if it is enabled) which is also usually on the C drive.
Hope you get it worked out.

According to the Pilot's site: "If you want high resolution, you need FS Global 2010 plus FS Global Ultimate - The Americas. This is because FS Global 2010 does not cover Canada. Thus you need The Americas. If you want highest possible resolution, you need the complete FS Global Ultimate series."FS Global 2010 - FTX version does include a quality mesh for Canada...
Features:
- (FS-Mesh- and sourcedata in 9m resolution!) for Hawaii (complete) and the southwest of the US, south of 38°N and west of 108°W (ca. Mesa Verde -> Point Reyes)
- High Quality Coverage of North America (and p.Canada!): nationwide LOD11 (19m)
- Greenland, Iceland and Scandinavia in LOD 9 (76m; standard SRTM resolution)
- additional high resolution areas in Europe in LOD11 (19m): High Tatra, Scottland, Hardangervidda (Norway)
- huge areas in the north of Russia in LOD9
- Antarctica in LOD8
- sophisticated new algorithm for correct views of ridges and peaks (most of them should have been higher and will now be nearer to actual value)
- new algorithm for reducing irrelevant data for higher data compression
- new algorithm for finding and correcting errors
- Airport-Patches for prominent problem areas

When my Locked Value was "True":
I had issues with the clickspots not working when they were displayed in the lower 1/2 of the display... If I panned the view so they were in the upper half, they worked fine.
When I changed it to False, the click spots work fine no matter where displayed in the window...
Go figure...
P3Dv2 w/ FTX Global Base, FTX Vector, and FS Global 2010 mesh.

Most of the airports are fine... They missed a few and hopefully they will have a patch or two to fix them up.

CYZT looks bad in my P3Dv2 FTX Vector with FS 2010 mesh as there is an airport elevation error that has not been corrected yet. Airport is on "pillars" right now... :-)

Maybe your mesh setting? Or if you hit pause, will it clean up after a time?
