This is a basic feature that will improve immersion for a lot of people and needs to be included, even for default aircraft. You could open the doors and windows on default fsx a/c, would be an odd omission for me

So I’m planning to go around the world in the Cessna 172 G1000. But am wondering, given all the mentions of FPS hit using the garmin aircraft, would I be better off going VFR in the 150 steam gauges? How many FPS do you lose steam gauges vs LCD displays? im going to be using a gtx1070, i5 7500, 16gb ram. Hoping for between high and ultra settings at 1080p? Is that reasonable do you think?

Feel a bit let down when remembering the aerodynamics discovery episode, almost like they ran out of time to get it to where they envisaged. I guess I assumed at least one aspect of the default flight model would be superior to a2as or pmdgs of the past. still looking forward to exploring the world, just a shame a2a won’t be ready with an aircraft at launch

Hi all, so it seems like they are leaving it to the 3rd partys to tweak the flight model. my only worry is there will be inherent problems with the base flight model which will be hard to overcome. It’s the only thing that could stand in the way of mfs2020 being what I always hoped it would be. i hope the 3rd parties will have enough freedom with the sdk and adobo can iron out any major problems before it’s too late rant over, can’t wait for next week!!!!

Yet, I hear quite a few testers reminding us that the first time flight simmer is their main target and that some of the design choices will be disappointing for hardcore simmers. Not long to find out now ❤️

Pretty sure you could open doors and windows in the default aircraft in FSX. I’ll be surprised if we can’t at release

Hi all, the bonanza could be my round the world trip plane. Does anyone know if it has anti icing or any de icing ability? I assume the model in mfs2020 is fairly recent, around 2010? As it has the g1000. Any info appreciated on this fine bird

Hi all, just tried out my new honeycomb yoke with saitek throttle and saitek pedal setup getting ready for the 18th :p Messing around in X-Plane, I have realised how crucial the input response curve option they give you is. It has helped me get a realistic feel for the toe brakes. is it confirmed yet or not if mfs2020 will allow us to edit a response curve like xplane does? many thanks all, super excited

Oh, I assumed the answer to this was known. Would be a nightmare to have to remap buttons each time you jump in and out of different aircraft

Hi all, can anyone let me know, with winks or what ever, can I setup all my buttons for a Cessna, then jump into a jet and be able to save a separate mapping profile for that?

Yeh, I suppose i just think all the enhancements accusim brought to p3d are already here in mfs2020, so am curious to see how they will improve it this time.

I’m just wondering if a2a will be utilising all the new aspects of mfs2020? The default aircraft are supposed to have very realistic flight models with the 1000 point surface calculation etc, what will accusim v4 bring beyond this? It made sense in P3d as there were so many things to improve on. It seems strange to me that they will be tweaking sounds, flight behaviours, systems, when they should already be as good as can be in that regard. im hoping to not have to rely on addon aircraft because, once I’ve tasted somthing better, I can’t fly the default ones anymore and it limits me to only a couple of the best addons. I would prefer the choice of the whole default fleet if they are so good. it makes sense for pmdg as you could never hope for a default heavy to simulate all the systems to that level, but for a2a and the light aircraft, I suppose I just thought asobo was creating the best that can be.

I want to know if the glass cockpit display will show loading screens for the garmin when starting the aircraft It was a small immersion killer for me seeing the gps turn on immediately in p3d default a/c also, let me open all the doors, luggage compartments, glove boxes, windows etc. I have faith that you will someone give me a wink 😏

Am I supposed to be able to pre Download it? I have pre ordered the premium delux. it says, “where do you want to install?, it looks like you don’t have any applicable devices linked to your Microsoft account” I have only been able to download the 26mb thing

I’m just going to wait for release. Experiencing this for the first time, without water marks, all polished up. It’s going to be amazing. Thanks to the alpha testers for the hard work.
