  1. Ress, If you can figure it out, please let us know, so far I have had no luck with Spad.next picking it up or nor can I delete the P3D bindings...and the programming is a tad to far for my talents.  I have just gone to the Template area and selected the Default bindings..not perfect but at least have the basics working. Sent a message to Honeycomb...no reply as yet...obviously flat out in other areas...just wondering if this is a one horse company? And everything is contracted out..ie Software to Aerosoft etc.

  2. OK Guys, Can anyone point me in the right direction please??

Spad.Next does not recognise The Honeycomb Yoke...I have tried deleting and reinstalling the Honeycomb drivers, no luck.

I have tried deleting the default bindings via the Yokeinput...no luck...they will not delete.

Have tried FSUIPC to over ride the default bindings...no luck.

The Hardware is fantastic...as a real PPL Licence holder it beats the CH and  Saitek products by a country mile...the software, however, is a very frustrating story.

    Any pointers please?

    Phil,

First of all you don't install RC4 into P3D. There is no requirement for it to be embedded in that program. I suggest you install to C:\RC4.

See how you go with that. I have RC4 running on another PC so all I needed to do was change the path to the P3D folder and the location of the flight plans.

If it complains it cannot find FSX.exe then create a text file in the main P3D folder and then rename it to fsx.exe. Some have said that works and others have said it's not necessary. Either way it should install.

You will probably get a message about FSUIPC. Just ignore it or allow RC4 to install its version but after the install has completed make sure you reinstall the latest FSUIPC5.

Thanks Ray, am still working on it, but you have guided me in the right direction...cheers and thanks for your quick response. Phil

RC4 works with FSX, FSX Steam and all versions of P3D.

Ray, Would you kindly explain how to install it into P3D V4.4, I have a mate whom managed to have success but apparently he also has FSX installed, which I don't. We attempted to put it into the P3D main directory but no luck, it kept looking for FSX like a lost puppy! Any pointers would be gratefully received...and if I am ever in the UK again I would happily buy you a beer or 3...

PS I have tried searching this forum but no luck as yet...if I have missed a post please forgive me.

    Cheers

    Phil
