  1. I was just ruling out destination airport as a probable cause since it was default airport. Some airports like Palm Springs have a 1000 animated wind turbines in the background which can cause all kinds of fps issues. So this was not the case with the default airport I had chosen.
  2. Again, I have mentioned this many times. Fps as a whole is high but sudden drops in fps happen with Fbw which give that jerky effect. If fps was consistently low then I can dial down my settings and manage. But if it’s at 50 and drops to 35 every minute or so then that induces jerkiness.
  3. Yes fps was never the issue. It’s the fps spikes that cause stutter. Or smooth frame time is what we need to look at. Thing is I use gsx and fsltl with other planes too and don’t have these momentary fps drops. I understand this is a very difficult issue to track down. Some have it , others don’t.
  4. Are you also using gsx fsltl aiflow and aiground? Maybe it’s one of those programs that don’t play well with Fbw.
  5. Stutters were present during taxi to takeoff and also on final and touchdown on a default airport which should have been easy on fps. Also fsltl was at minimal setting during landing. Latest Exp version.
  6. Ya I’m not on discord anymore. It’s becoming hard to login to discord these days with so many verification questions to sign in. We have investigated this quite a bit few months ago when I sent you videos of fps spikes etc. but not sure I can spend that much time again. Mostly why I got fenix to satisfy my airbus cravings. Let me know if I can share info thru emaiL. That works for me.
  7. This is based on one test flight only that too with FSLTL.
  8. Sorry to burst your bubble but the stutters are still there. Much improved but still present and noticeable on the ground. Exp version.
  9. Does this happen with all your planes? Reason I ask is this same kinda thing used to happen only with Fbw A320 for me. Never happened with any other plane. So got fenix instead for my airbus craving.
  10. so my must haves in MSFS: 1. decent AI behavior without any shenanigans.. 2. Flyby and tower views 3. Audio headset key binding 4. better car LODs.. they keep disappearing too soon.. 5. better slew mode + camera control during slew mode except item 1, rest are minor fixes.. goes to show how far MSFS has matured since its launch.. loving every moment of it..
  11. To quote Michael Jackson: "You're not alone.. " I actually upvoted this feature request on MSFS polling site.. It is a must have cool feature!
  12. can you do something similar in MSFS? I will buy you a dozen beers.. seriously..
  13. just completed a TBM flight.. I did see one AI on the TCAS finally.. granted, I was flying in a less busy area.. let me make a few more flights and see if i can spot more..
  14. But we may not need the steps shown in the video anymore with new AAU update. can someone confirm if tcas is working on G3000 or G1000?
  15. Above link is an old YouTube video from JayDee on how to get TCAS working for WT G3000.

  17. do we have to do something like what i pasted above from WT website.. this was for a much older version 0.6.2 where you had to do some extra stuff for TCAs to work;.. with AAU1 I thought all that should have been included..
  18. Working Title G3000 v0.6.2 Release Highlights for v0.6.2 Please refer to the changelog for a more detailed description of changes in this release. Enabled support for laurinius’s MSFS Traffic Service app (available on Github), which adds Offline AI traffic and SimConnect-injected traffic to the mod’s traffic systems. This feature requires that you download and install laurinius’s app separately and must be manually enabled via the mod config file. Enabling Offline AI and SimConnect (e.g. VATSIM) Traffic The base sim only provides information on Live AI Traffic to JS/HTML instruments. As a result, by default the mod’s traffic systems only support Live AI traffic. However, the mod provides the option to enable support for Offline AI and SimConnect-injected traffic using a third-party app. To do so, please complete the following steps: Download and install laurinius’s MSFS Traffic Service app (https://github.com/laurinius/MSFSTrafficService). The app requires .NET Core 3.1 to run (https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download). Change the useTrafficService setting in the mod configuration file to true. Start the MSFS Traffic Service app and ensure that the service is running (this can be done before or after starting the sim). (Optional) Configure the port used by MSFS Traffic Service app by changing the port number within the app itself and changing the trafficServicePort setting in the mod configuration file to match. Not recommended unless the default port (8383) is not working and you know what you are doing. Once you have completed these steps, the mod will display and issue traffic alerts for the additional types of traffic supported by the MSFS Traffic Service app. If the mod encounters any errors retrieving traffic data from the traffic service app during a flight, it will fall back to using the default sim’s traffic data until it detects that the traffic service app is sending good data again. Lastly, it is recommended to set the useTrafficService mod configuration setting to false when you are not planning to use the traffic service app; while leaving the setting at true will not result in any errors, it does incur a small and otherwise unnecessary performance cost. Fixes [General] Fixed a bug with initializing airport data with no listed runways. [NavMap] While in TRACK UP mode on the ground, the compass arc’s reference tick mark now correctly indicates the aircraft’s current heading instead of ground track (which cannot always be reliably calculated on the ground). [Traffic] Fixed an error with ground track computation for traffic contacts. [PFD] Airspeed altimeter speed bugs are no longer mispositioned when airspeed is below the minimum indicated airspeed. [GTC] Fixed a bug where the Charts page would sometimes automatically change the selected airport after closing a popup or navigating back to it from the pan/zoom control page.
  19. Ok, this is driving me nuts.. I vaguely remember TCAS used to work on boeing and airbus planes.. these days i'm flying GA and not able to get TCAS to show AI on the traffic map at all.. I tested on the TBM and vision jet (both have G3000).. I don't have any WT or other mods other than default stuff from AAU1.. I tested with FSLTL and offline AI as well.. can see a ton of AI flying around but nothing on my traffic map (which is set to operate and not standby).. have tried above, below and even unrestricted options.. no joy.. have tested while flying and on ground.. different range radii.. nada.. any ideas, anybody?
  20. pmdg has always been much easier to land and also suppresses sudden atmospheric effects (read more about it on their forum).. I believe it refers to weathervaning as I've found pmdg easier to control after a x-wind landing vs fenix..
  21. No that link points to fsx recorder. The one I referred to was the MSFS freeware recorder which almost everyone has downloaded from Flightsim.to at some point. It’s still miles ahead of asobos recorder.
  22. Yes. These are apps like pilot2atc, fsrealistic, chrome for metars, AAO for honeycomb mappings, fschatter, fsrecorder, etc. I don’t have any lags on my pc due to these apps. I do have a 3090 though paired with a i9 5.3 gigs.
  23. Space desk sounds like a cumbersome process. Nothing like a native app on iPad. I use as LNM heavily but keep it open on a 2nd monitor along with 10 other apps. I do have a tablet and sometimes use it for charts and metar apps. So that sorta supplements LNM in some ways.
  24. When clearance gave you all that info you got overwhelmed. But if you used CRAFT acronym it will make things simpler to digest all the info they gave you. PilotEdge talks about it.
