Ok, FSX is working really well again! But the problems with P3D v4.1 have remained!
I'll try a reinstallation!

Windows update 1709 - KB4054517 (OS Build 16299.125).
Happy snow-flying :)
Are you flying with FSX or P3D v4.1 64_bit? With P3D v4 still crash. Otherwise I have to reinstall.

Did you first load a default plane? >So there are no problems!
Change with a PMDG Airplane an airport, then there is a crash in P3D.

Same problem here!

I have the same bug!

Update has worked!
Thanks to PMDG!

I can not confirm! Same mistake!

It still does not work! Even if the firewall is off, the same result! ...Download stops.

Here a solution of PMDG! Unfortunately with me without success!
We've had other users having this issue in the past two days trace it back to antivirus or firewall interference with the download. We've checked the server and files exhaustively, there isn't a problem on our end of the connection. 18,000+ successful OC updates have happened in the past two days across the world.
=========
Have you tried setting a Windows Firewall rule to allow the OC and updater through? Several other users said doing this fixed the issue for them.
Here's a video explaining how to do this:

This is an EU server problem! After various attempts, get other error messages.
Other message:
1. Product Module 737NGX.dll has failed to download after 3 attempts.
2. Product Module 737NGX XSE.dll has failed to download after 3 attempts.

Unfortunately, this does not help me! I have sent a new ticket to PMDG.

There must be a solution for this.
Write the answer and solution of PMDG here in Forum! Thank you!

AAAAAAAAAA!!!

I have the same error in FSX and P3D no problems with installation.
Here, however, a statement of PMDG to this bug:
Latest 777 installer COEXISTENCE FAILURE
There appears to be an issue with the sim checking routine in the new version that was released tonight - we are aware of it and attempting to figure out why it's happening. We did not see this during testing, so it may take us a bit of time to figure out what's going on.
-
Did the problem solved so well, as I have set all the textures to 1024 pixels included REX 4 Texture Direct.
-
The frames are better in Prepar3D. Will continue to test and tweak.
-
Fsdreamteam airports are perhaps exceptions. The fact is that my Flight Simulator X runs better in DirectX10 Mode.
-
That's why I'm not quite ready to make that jump...I'm worried it'll run terribly for me.
Take a flight from A to B.
If the airport is too large, then the danger is you get an Out Of Memory.
Taking the textures only in a resolution of 1024 pixels, but then you can also get lucky. Of course I use addon airports.
The Flight Simulator X is currently running better with me almost without Out Of Memory.
-
Look on the P3D forums, there are plenty of tips on there on how to prevent OOMs. The main ones include using 1024 textures, limiting autogen and shadows etc.
This brings a little something. Unfortunately Prepar3D is currently not flyable for me.
-
I P3D V2.5 and Global FTX + vector + OpenLC Europe an OOM problem. I use besides AI traffic. In FSX no problem with OOM.
-
Thats right . It also does not work with the standard engine fsx weather. If the QNH [hPa] is 0978, then it's over.
-
If the value is less than 979 HPA then the doors will not work. I myself have ASN.

My mistake was the old version of SweetFX + Reshade in the PD3v4.1 folder. That brought the crash!
So can get back into the cockpit! .-))
