I've not been involved in FS much lately but I just got this email. From what i've checked, Real Air Simulations doesnt quite exist anymore but has a couple different sites. Anyone else have anything like this?

I have one monitor connected to the GPU and the other connected into the MOBO which utilizes the intel graphics. In the settings, I am sure to have the GPU selected. Im testing now with said information above.

Yeah I agree with you. In my experience with 8XSSAA, clouds absolutely killed the GPU with ease. I havent tried it on the new GPU (Titan V) so perhaps with how much more powerful it is, it could work. Ill test and advise the results.

Hello, Looking for some assistance with an issue I just cant seem to quite figure out. In the first two screenshots below, I've circled/pointed to the areas of issue and essentially certain textures and areas such as runways are not very smooth on the edging and are jagged/staired. The only somewhat fix I have found is turning on FXAA within P3D but then virtual cockpit issues with blurring occur. I've tried everything I can think of from specific P3D/Nvidia Control Panel/Nvidia Inspector tweaks but nothing seems to really work well. If you check the 3rd screenshot, the issue doesn't appear to really effect the aircraft or anything close up/zoomed but rather distant textures.Any Assistance will be greatly appreciated and specs/info are below. CPU: Intel i7-8700k overclocked to 5.1GHz with hyperthreading off (Liquid Cooling). GPU: I have been testing between a GTX 1080 8GB, GTX Titan X, and my new recent GPU being the new GTX Titan V. (Currently on driver 398.11, but have tested several of the other common versions but no noticeable change) Ram: 32GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB DDR4-3200 HD: Samsung 960 Pro NVMe M.2 SSD Monitor: Asus VGA248QE Gaming Monitor (Have Tested with all refresh rates with no difference). @Cedric Sin If you'd like, feel free to send me a private message and I don't mind troubleshooting for yah. @simbol The issue is specific to P3D v3 as the issue effects 32bit programs. P3D v4 is in the clear with it being 64bit. I don't recall the specific versions of the few friends i've helped, but I tested locally on 3.4.22.19868

Hello Folks, So recently I have had alot of people message me about an issue with P3D V3 throwing an error "error creating child window" and or crashing due to a recent Windows 10 update. I did a bit of investigating and saw that the issue was caused basically due to some invalid string and return data within the included .NET 4.7 update. After reaching out to a friend whom is an engineer with MS and him looking into it, I was informed that the November 14th patch would resolve the issue, but it didnt of course.. Well, here is a fix that i've tested with a couple of friends experiencing the issue and it resolved the error from coming up and crashing. It's as simple as removing .NET 4.7 and I have included the simple instructions below; Step 1: Click on your start button, search for and open "Control Panel" Step 2: Click on Programs Step 3: Once in Programs, Click on "Turn Windows Features On or Off" Step 4: Once the Windows Features window opens, Uncheck ".NET Framework 4.7 Advanced Services" and then press OK. This should remove .NET 4.7. Afterwords, you may need to reboot your computer (I would anyways). After the reboot, run Prepa3d and the child window error should not occur! During testing, I also loaded all the addons I could (Such as Active Sky, vPilot, and a few others) but thankfully very little programs are .NET 4.7 dependent therefore there should be no impact to any other programs. NOTE: In the event that Microsoft get's it's sh** together and they release a working update, you can easily re enable/install .NET 4.7 by replicating the steps above with the exception to the last step in which you will enable the checkbox and press OK. Hello, I installed the PA46 with Navigraph. On the MFD, there is no text that says the Airport ICAOS, Intersections, etc... I can see the locations of them, The little triangle icons, airport icons, etc but there is no text that identifies them. When I select a departure or arrival of an airport, I can see the navigraph data is loaded. I have included screenshots. Hello, Having some issues with this and getting it to work. So far it's the only thing I cant manage to get working. With the weather radar activated, the format is on map, tried all tilts, both long and short range, precipitation is active, etc.. for weather I am using Active Sky Next. Any ideas? Would love to get this working.
