  1. It was removed due to "advertising" on the forums.
  2. It does fix OOM errors. Yes you are correct, just modifying the resources is going to cause errors and other types of problems. The program is doing more than just editing it. I encourage anybody who wants to wait until performance specs are released, that's fine. I do not encourage people to blindly jump into things. Tomorrow it will undergo intensive testing, to ensure product quality is at its highest. The interface is also scheduled to be re-done in the future. - Darek, Flightreal simulations
  3. Right, I'll be sure to get some performance numbers up on the website tomorrow. Thanks for that tip. It varies a lot, really, I can't supply accurate numbers to your specific PC, so its best for me not to that answer that at the moment. I will however, post some statistics of it with standard Windows 64bit hardware specifications. For accurate numbers, I'd need the total amount of cores you currently have, what settings you're using. For example, running this tool with the PMDG 777 may give you 15-20FPS more. (This is not true, just a example) While flying a default 737 may give you 40FPS more. (Again, a made up number, nothing real) So, I'd need specifics to give even a estimate. My bad! Thanks for that. I must have made a spelling mistake. We are talking about physical memory. Its capable of using more than its capped 4GB of RAM.
  4. You are correct. As stated, this is a brand new product so there is a possibility that things may not work properly, but with your purchase you are provided the newest service packs, updates, and helpful customer service. If you want to wait it out a couple of months until we get it all sorted out, feel free to do so. The more buys, the more funds we have to develop it further. - Darek, Flightreal Simulations
  5. Absolutely! I completely understand. I'm sure there are many bugs involved with this process, but that is why we need folks like you to test them. Remember, any questions you have I'm open to answer. Happy flying! - Darek, Flightreal Simulations
  6. You are correct, it is not possible to edit the program to run as 64bit, however, you can simulate it in a 64bit environment. There is a lot that goes into it. Feel free to ask questions. I'm more than happy to answer them. But you are correct, its not a full 64bit program. But it is however, able to take advantage of 4GB+ ram, and more than 2 cores. - Darek, Flightreal Simulations
  7. Yes all, its what you have been waiting for, a 64bit version of FSX is successfully running! We officially started our work on 8/5/2012 and we have released a beta version! The program is not perfect, and still has many bugs. It is currently in the ALPHA stage. All help is appreciated as this program is constantly under development. The official alpha release is planned on 8/16/2014 at 4PM EST. With this amazing tool, your flight simulator will run in a 64bit environment. This allows the application to use more than 2 cores by default, and more than 4GB of ram. This is a big step forward in the FSX community and we think we can take FSX to a new level. There is only so much FSX can do in a 32bit environment, so its time for a major upgrade! Prepar3D has done a excellent job, but for those of you still with FSX wanting some of the features P3D has to offer, you can finally be satisfied!. We are currently testing the product before its actual release. We have some pictures below that we wanted to share with you. Again, the planned release is on 8/16/2014 Apparently, I cannot get the upload image feature to work, so feel free to checkout our website for amazing photos. http://flightreal.com/32-bit-to-64-bit.html If you do purchase before it is officially listed on our website (It will say so) you are agreeing to pre-order the product. So we do not suggest to purchase unless its released! Happy flying everyone! - Darek, Flightreal Simulations **UPDATE** For those of you stating its not possible to run FSX as a 64bit program. You are correct, it is not possible unless you had full access to the FSX. It is however possible to simulate it in a virtual environment.
