  1. The REX-MILVIZ Advantage WX radar is defined in the dll.xml file (and reside in Modules sub directory of Prepar3D) <Launch.Addon> <Name>WXAdvantage</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>Modules\MV_WXM.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon> What version of Prepar3D are you running ? The wxAdvantage radar is not yet updated by REX for P3DV4.5 HF2. (you will have to wait at least 2 weeks I suppose). Gérard
  2. Microsoft will have managed to kill the addon industry before selling any product. Great result 😞 Gérard
  3. Sorry to hear that... 😞 Thank for your clarification. Gérard
  4. Jim, I know that THIS forum has several BUGS in the ways it is installed here (ORBX, and other which use the same software, behave as expected). - The unread content filter has never works as it should (I have setup several on ORBX, very usefull) - the save of the filter (stream) does not work. I addressed this months ago with no luck. Any chance that a knowledgeable webmaster reviews AVSIM installation ? Thanks in advance. Gérard
  5. Hello Oliver, It is because I found my "FlyTamp-Kay Tak-World" scenery raised above "003 Base", much too high to set the airport base altitude, that I opened this topic. I agree that Layer 3 is a convention, but that's the one apparently adopted by airport payware suppliers... I still wait that ORBX solves all its problems (including with LM) before re-installing everything : I am sloooowly preparing my migration to W10.... Regards - Gérard
  6. Thanks - that was my error ! Just to better explain my initial concern (nothing to do with "grouping" - wrong use of the word on my side...) the <Layer> key word is used by some payware scenery airports to insure proper altitude setting (and only there), in line with LM documentation. Layer (Scenery Category Only) The layer of the scenery area component starting at one, where higher numbered layers take precendence over lower numbered layers. Add-on sceneries typically do not specify a layer and it is assumed that they should be the topmost layer. Default value An integer representing a layer one higher than the top layer Examples <AddOn.Component> ... <Layer>1</Layer> ... </AddOn.Component> (A scenery component whose layer is the base scenery layer) Thanks for your great help (as usual) 🙂 Gérard
  7. Hi Oliver, I have a question concerning "layer" for scenery type "altitude", where one want to position the scenery (usually airport_alt.bgl) to override the default simulator altitude (below Scenery\0000). When I specify "layer=3" I noticed that P4AO (or Prepar3D ?) modifies this layer number (apparently to avoid duplicate layer numbers). But this lead, when adding new sceneries, to progressively shift the scenery rank and defeat the initial intention of keeping grouped all such special sceneries at the same level. How can I ensure that layer=3 will remain untouched ? Am I missing something ? Thanks - Regards Gérard
  8. Still having problems with "Load more activity" : It used to keep the currently displayed line in view. Now it skips to the end of the list, making it difficult to browse the full unread list. Any suggestion ? Gérard Firefox 69 / 64 bits
  9. Hi, Could you describe some of the of the extra-tool you are using, like - the top screen info displayed (I have frequently difficult time to see and check all the info on the VC) -the "touch down" report : I am trying to improve 😉 my pilot skill and my landing. I would love to learn more... Thanks - will follow the next episodes. Gérard
  10. Nice pictures 🙂 I see you are using "Real Trim". This addon looks interesting. Could you give some feedback. Thanks. Gérard
  11. In France, I found it at an interesting price last week, but today they are at the same price 😞 Question of availability, probably... Will wait few weeks more 😉
  12. I would even suggest the 9700 KF, as we have no need for the integrated graphics ! Same caracteristics of the CPU part and a little more savings for other "investments" 😉 Gérard
  13. Great picture of a great aircraft Gérard
  14. Thanks Keven, Problem fixed - TrackIr is back with CP 🙂 Gérard
  15. I am sorry for you, I bought it from FlySimware (when V1.8C was issued) and the current date of files is march 2019 for the lattest.(look in texture folder). You should revert to FSW, they are very helpfull and cross-check with them if fspilotshop has the last version ! (According to FSW site, FS Pilot Shop is an official re-seller). Hope you get it sorted out - the new textures make the difference ! Gérard EDIT : I just look on FS Pilot Shop - they claims that there version is at 1.8C, which is the lattest official.
  16. No more true - the visuals of the FSW Falcon are at the level of Carenado - thanks to the work of @Wickedbacon92 Gérard
  17. Other. Stay with P3d and all invested addons 😉
  18. As been already done by Wickedbacon92w- and the result is fabulous 🙂
  19. ORBX OpenLC Africa ! AH Caravelle and Honeycomb - Alpha
  20. Checked yesterday the "Experimental" version - TrackIr still not recognized 😞 I am missing the "replay" facility, even with its frequent freeze... Any schedule for a new "experimental" ? Thanks Gérard
  21. Well, if Mark is satisfied, I will be 🙂 Thanks for your feedback. Gérard
