Hi, simfriends with the annonces of realityXp and fligh1 of new versions of gns530 for p3dv4... i'm unable to make mine choice between. Mine configuration of data in v4 is done with navigraph integrate by fsaerodata. I hope using directly mine .pln done by flight planners compatible with navigraph... thanks for your minds... and helps. regards

the sid and star are in the database of gtn 750, they work well. This addon is one of the best tools, a must have. Is usefull and very easy. when I don't want lost time, in fms, flight plans progamming... I use it. but, but, but don't forget to read the manual before, there are a number of facilities for flying.

For me it's a very good news because as the real aircraft, is done to be flying by one pilot... On short runways...

Be quite... Keep in mind, most of post on avsim are reports of questions or problems that concern some configurations or evolutions ( each computer and sim are a strict personnal config.) Most happy simmers don't write about success. (Big majority) Avsim isn't a shot of the strict reality of the sim state, just keep a eye on avsim's informations to prevent to buy 'no-ready addon's" or to do yourself bad manipulations. I have the p3dv4 from the first hour... No ctd, no OM, ... only tracking solutions for Milviz dhc2 and gtn750 integration. with de v1, v2 and v3, only one ctd ... and as in fsx a lot of OM. There is no more evolution possible in fsx with 32 bits. A lot of editors annonced that they don't want creating future fsx addons. Shure with P3D v4, you shall lost definitively some lovely addons... The editors must compiled new versions of aircrafts... But p3dv4 is just born, it's day one ! As a new welcomer no perfect. The OM nightmare was the biggest problem in fsx and precedent versions of P3d... I think... 64 bits ;-) is the only solution for a futur developement in simulation. First time I decided to keep mine old version, but now when I discovered the progress of visual qualities with most settings on max, I think that past is .... Past.

To be 100% sure perhaps make a scan of your p3dv4 with software as Simple Airport Scanner, some time we are surprise to found one in global or region scenery... this scenery is well done and a good step airport between the south and the north of europe.

Thanks for your's return be77solo. That confirm me that global ultimate shall giving a lot of job with airports elevations. Better then best mesh could be the worst (for airports of course). You confirm that orbx have installed their sceneries on medium pilot's mesh... global 2010. For less problem, I' m ready to spend a little money to be quite on ifr flights. And to fly vfr, one of mine neighbors-friend decided to acquired the ultimate version, so with our's 2 experiences, I shall have a real look on. For this kind of flight with the interrest to have very detailled mesh, I have the possibility to pre-correct some choiced airports before fliyng in turn-around to apprecate this level without frustration on landing ;-) Switched, on start of computer, between a medium or a high mesh, shall perhaps, being mine final solution.

Following the explain of GektheReaper, it seam that a unique choice of mesh don't exist. Perhaps have for ifr flights a level as global 2018 and for vfr flights a very detailed mesh for eycandy landschapes and pleasure of details. for me is time to digest the kinds answers you do, many thanks

I looked those 2 links with a lot of interest, thank you. I want to refurmulate mine question... A beter mesh, shure, is very well and better for landscapes and mountains. But, I remermber in P3dv3 a lot of problems with the runways of airports and sceneries on wrong levels... Is time consuming without fliyng.... Then in this version v4, I want to choice the best lod in regard of the editors choices, to have a maximum flights without bad sceneries. I' am busy to download the free high meshes... kindly indicated... Shall be the best for Alpes of Himalaya of american's natural zone of the new South-America. For the rest... all the other sceneries, what the is beter medium as lod level in v4?

Hello, all, After discutions with Friends, we don't be able to decide between the 2 Pilot's Global meshes proposed. We want to make the best choice for p3dv4.... to have a strict minimum of troubles with our's airports (most from Orbx and aerosoft). I listen that before Orbx based all their creations on the version global 2010 (and now the nearest global seem to be the 2018 version... adapted for 64b.) many thanks for your's answers

When I look the orbx strategy, they probably evoluated from north to south then now, I think that they developing the south Germany to Austria... Munich airport shall be a good suggestion as scenery.

Î'm belgian... But i flow with small aircraft and commuters, Oceania orbx sceneries : 30% The Dash8/400: principaly in Norway, with the real weather... because of wonderfull landschapes with very changed climatic conditions... The airports are short, a lot with difficult approachs ( p.expl Sandane). 30% Airbus 319/321, the european hollidays destinations 20% and 10% caribean islands. All aircrafts 10% in nord america. Destinations are only added addon's because I hate default airports... Now, I concentred buing of addon's on USA and Asia zone. ( I decided 3years ago, a constant budget for 3/4 airports/ month. Simulation is mine first hobby. ... waiting of come back of D8/400 and airbus in P3Dv4 because in preparation of a very long World tour of the best Addons.
