Looks good Nyxx, i will probally go with this one for airliners, im also looking for VAs for bush flying, but is not easy.

I have Ideal flight from Steve Waite for P3D v3, great piece of software and Steve is a great guy always helping and giving great support, but hes charging another new license for V4, and IF is not cheap, in my opinion not a fair deal from someone that already bought the software, i already had the opportunity to tell him that in his forum ;)

Unfortunately theres little we can do about this my friend, slow refresh rates give you lag, what i do is use the 60hz in all my normal activity and i use HotKey Resolution Changer https://funk.eu/hrc/ to change my refresh rate fast when i fire P3D ;)

Glad that you solve that ;) as for the micro stutters, i also have it if i use 30hz and lock to 30 fps, however, if i use 25hz and lock 30fps smooth, try to find a good relation between your monitor refresh rate and the fps internal lock, its a try and error job!

I would like to hear what my fellow captains use to get ideas or reasons to fly, i think we all been there..."i want to fly today but i dont know what and where to..." We have some good tools on the market like fscaptain for a virtual company, or fseconomy for GA, or even Air Haluer 2, although i dont have this last one(i find weird a software that is in early access for more than one year) Im all ears :) Thank you

I can assure you that locking frames will solve that problem(internal locking, not using NI) i had exactly what you are describing, and was solved like that, the problem is not all systems behave the same, and locking fps can induce stutters in some cases.

Interesting, if i run 25hz with 26 lock i get stutters, also in unlimited, i need to give itsome slack to have a smooth expirience, so the 30 lock :) And all this just for heavy aircrafts and airports, with light enviroments unlock fps with 30hz gives me the best expirience...oh my!! Flight simining is a challenge in and out :)

Try that, i also play in 4k, if you notice any stutters try one thing, lower your refresh rate to 25hz, vsync on, and lock your frames to 30, and see whats the outcome of that.

What about locking frames? did you try that? on my system makes all the difference when using heavy aircrafts!

I understand your point mate, and that could lead us to another new and exciting discussion :) for me for example it's not reasonable paying for a plane double the price of a full simulator, but for others is! I think AFS2 can become a great simulator if IPACS doesn't drop the project and stay on the right path developing what it needs to be, and when that happens i will put my money on it again... but as someone said..."we will be together, but not yet!"

No argue on that! but that should also be reflected in the price, IPACS is basically charging almost the same on a still young wanna be flight simulator than the older experience competition(In P3D case the Academic Licence)

I had AFS2 some months ago and i refund it in steam, i bought it mainly because as native VR support, but what i found at that time was an incomplete product compared to X-plane or P3D, a lot of things missing(atc, ai, partial aviation systems simulated, no weather system, small map coverage, etc) although i think as a great potential, still needs to take some good steps until become a true simulator. Meanwhile i think things have evolved, at least in terms of map coverage, but still needs a lot of things to become something that can be compared with P3D. In my opinion!

Mismatch data, most of the waypoints in LN are not present in the GTN, i quited importing plans to the GTN, better doing it directly in the equipment.
