  1. Hard to believe that he affirm that Carenado uses Real Pilots on the development of aircraft, and they have like 35 -40 hours testing the planes.... it's true that "some" releases have a good FDE, closest to reality, but on others the FDE is waaaaaaaaaaay far to the reality. And some with good FDE the amount of BUGS kill the experience and kill the point that the plane have good FDE. He go directly to the point of that they have the target on the market, light system, good graphics, representing the plane closest to real thing, and they market plan have good results.... I mean 60 70 % of people buy the products no matter if they last buy was a bad choice, the next plane will be better.... 20 years like this? And carenado keep going now with regional market and in the coming years maybe they go to the airline market too.....
  2. Same here!! Interested in the mods that you have done to this plane. The FDE and the AP. My favorite besides of her older sister Shrike commander, If I understand you "upgrade the plane to -10?" I don't have hours RL in -10 only -5 Commander, but have a friend pilot too that flew the first 690A upgrade to supreme Commander (-10 engines) in Venezuela and have the carenado version too, after some hours in her. He told me that the plane flew like the real one and this have the -10 performance too..
  3. Thanks anyway, for you time, for me as a RL pilot of commander aircraft this item its important obviously and must work as POH. Well is carenado at least so..... Much to ask..... Thanks again for the PH and the prop synchronizer light fix!! Redgars RB
  4. You're right. Both gauges have lecture before the engines start, I think that the engines have an microwave inside to put hot the oil... Without the heat of the engine! (just kidding) I don't know if this wrong behavior of those gauges can be fixed in some xml archive...
  5. Have found another bug for this amazing plane. The FDE it's closest to the real aztec, the textures are beautiful, The bug that I found is that the CHT temperature it's tied to the Left engine. Start the left engine and both CHT raises, the right engine don't have CHT lecture if start this engine. Only the Left, have both temperatures. Can someone one take a look to this? I don't know if this bug have already submitted to Alabeo people. Regards RB
  6. Thanks for this and the PH fix, I have one request that can be fix it too in the same xml. The hydraulic system it's wrong. In RL with the battery on the indicator mark 0 pressure, the pressure raises when start any engine (L/R). Before start the engines if you need to know if there's hydraulic in the tank you have to press the brakes or get down the flaps. In the carenado representation you pass the battery and magically there's the instrument marking pressure. And the needle don't move till you put to off the battery. Can you take a look of this item? Regardless RB
  7. I Agree, both aircraft are best of best carenado, 500S 690B, at least for me, just that two planes. I'm not interested in saab or any regional airliner, why just let this big work to another company and let focused in their fleet GA, to many planes that will be great for FS (Queen Air, Cessna 402, BE100, F90, Cessna 414, 425,) along others. . Regards RB
  8. Shrike Commander 500S: have been FO in RL for a while and this plane represent the twin Commander spirit, analogue panel (carenado best work, none glass) great textures, and the most important thing, FDE close to the Real deal. The sound it's amazing real, can forget that sound in the real plane. Turbo Commander 690B: have some hours in this big brother of my little Shrike, again stunning graphics in and out, I'm prefer the -5 Garret model, some things to pay attention, all about the Garret TPE331 modelling, if PMDG can do a descent work in the JS41 even the limitations of the FSX carenado can..... With patience make a good TPE, the FDE it's like the real one too, an Shrike more heavier and big, the sound it's heavily compress and distorted in some point, but at least it's a good representation of an Turbo Commander. Both for me are the best of the best of carenado. Regard RB
  9. Totally! Nothing...! But I can't find nothing to said that Sorry Bert
  10. Totally! Nothing...! But I can't find nothing to said that Sorry Bert
  11. Bert!! Looks (in videos that I've seen, that the hydraulic system have the same wrong behavior like in their Shrike Commander.) the indicator always have pressure. Have the same system and the same behavior; Regard RB
  12. You have reported this to carenado? if this bugs are true the plane have no go items for flight. RB
  13. Great paint, medical evacuation on 690 are very successful, a plane for a infinite number of roles! Keep working!! 100% real deal Regarding RB
  14. TOOOOOOO BEAUTY !!!!!!!!!!!!! too much for me jeje...... please can you search for YV reg........ you will be not dissapointed............ you will have many options to pick one redgars RB
  15. I've landed Shrike Commander, 680F and 690 on unprepared runways, dirty runways, shorts landings are hard work.... More on the 690,..... "narcommander" are a good nickname for this beauty's!! A detail that I see today on a video on YouTube, for me seems that the nose gear is a bit higher, the nose seems to be little up. Regard RB
  16. Sorry, I don't mean for bad, I just search the reg and see the model, keep going painting 690, this one is a beautiful and when have the plane for sure the repaint will be on my library. Sorry again! RB
  17. Searching for the reg, the N690CF it's a 690A. Non difference visually between an A or B. The B have some improvements in the systems.
  18. A beauty...... Great paint.... You can search in Jetphotos for 690A/B YV (Venezuelan reg) There's a greats scheme YV! RB
  19. Ted Smith use the same fuel system in the Commander models and the Aerostar too. Simplified and easy system. Only the models 900, 980, and 1000 have "fuel transfer" control due the big tanks in the wings. Regard RB
  20. I have some hours in right seat of 690A/B with the TPE331-5. I'm waiting to purchase the plane, have the Shrike Commander, and have more RL hours in the right seat too, best twin of carenado so far. With your real experience, can confirm that the flight dynamics, performance and handling are good, and feels real compared to the Real 690,? Your opinion can make the purchase more soon that I expected Regards RB
  21. I don't have the plane yet, but my hope are that the 690 was the best turbo prop of carenado like the Shrike was the best twin piston so far. Have a friend that years ago flew the first 690A wirh the renaissance program and the dash ten engine. He buy the plane and share with me his thoughts. The plane have the performance of the Dash Ten engine. Have the same felling that his690A with dash ten. He name the bugs that everyone have reported but the most important for he is the flight dynamics and performance. One thing that he can't shut off the garretts with the normal procedure. Hope he download the 1.1 and make the subsequent test. Regardless RB
  22. Good Martin, that's is the point and the major complain, the ITT/EGT instruments, the engines and the performance!!! If they can explain and solve this thing in concrete the plane worth the money, if not........ Another pretty plane without soul. Bad instruments, bad engines bad performance!! Even the exhausts on the engine are typical dash ten engines, the exhausts on the -5 are different! More people need to keep pushing carenado team to fix the problems
  23. In this case my big "no go" item for the purchase it's the FATAL ERROR in the instruments. Like said here if it's a Commander with TPE331-5 need to have their respective ITT instrument. If is a Commander with the TPE331-10 it's OK and match with the EGT instruments in the plane. Can't be a 690B with the stock -5 Garrett and have a EGT instrument or a with the Dash Ten engine and have the performance of the original -5 engine. That's my big complain, if carenado it's packing a SP hope for God sake fix this. I can help them have material etc to do the plane more realistic. At least have my Shrike Commander 100% real like the real one.
  24. About number 4, the performance chart that you are using is for the 690B with the TPE331-5 or with the Dash Ten engine? The exhaust in the carenado model engines are from the dash ten engine, the -5 engine have the exhaust long and round at the end.
  25. An 690A/B with the TPE331-5 have performance compared to an BE90/100 but an 690 Dash Ten have pair of rockets under the wings, have a performance similar to a Jet. I will prefer that carenado do the 690 with the Renaissance program, and the TPE-5 717shp. Regardless RB
