Chaseplane Crashing. Unusable Beta Version
king1706 replied to bigryan62's topic in ChasePlane Support
I need to know if I am having the same issue , when I do a flight with A2A Cessna in prepar3d V4 and use chase plane no presets just I assign my Saitek yoke to change view and pan I made one hour flight no issues at all. But when I loaded the PMDG again no special key assignment just I assign different views to the hatch switch it worked till I am on the runway to takeoff then the prepar3d shut down with no message . Any comments are highly appreciated And I am using the PMDG 747 compatible with prepar3d V4 but the beta version of chase plan . I am not sure if that from PMDG or chase plan Many Thanks Amr -
Thanks a lot Elaine for the great tips will do that now , you are correct as may have overwhelmed my simulator with lots of addons without testing Best Regards

Hello Ed , I was so excited with the new prepar3d V4 coming out I added a new hard drive in my computer specially for the V4 while I am keeping the old drive for V3.4 . I upgraded my Global FTX no vector update yet, also I bought the new A2A Cessna for prepar3d V4 and the PMDG 747 . Majority of addons are crashing regardless of vendors saying it is working Chaseplane ( crash) AS16 crash , Rex texture with softclouds ( it says compatible) it is not . Majority of the sceneries I have from before are not working yet. I have spent three days trying to find the reason but I can not say why every time I load prepar3d V4 and just put a simple flight plan and choose one of the original plans came with the prepar3d V4 not an addon no happiness crash within seconds . I will stick to your advise to wait till things are more clear Cheers Amr

Prepar3D v3 problem Ezdok camera stopped working
king1706 replied to Malik Berrada's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
I saw your issues with EZ dock I have more issues and also I tried opus but finally I landed with chaseplane . This is the best software I have seen for a simulator I am not trying to sell but I want to share my experience. Ezdock was a paint in the b .... copying files and editing files in exe. Too much IT for a non IT person like me. Chaseplane I just bought it installed it and in less than 5 minutes I was able to configure internal cameras , external and world no issues lots of privellages will never go back to these complicated programs again . Great manuals after tweaking setups no more crashes Many thanks Amr

Hello Ed Thanks for responding yes the crash was due to OMM message not my system capabilities as I do have high end computer and a very powerful video card, but I guess as mentioned above due to prepar3d runs on 32bits it do that. I also found that when using the airport CYYZ ( toronto) which I bought the sim crashes at the beginning when I changed it it worked . I did also found that I was double on programs for the same results for example I was using ASN and same time REX plus essential both are weather engines which I chooses REx as it loads straight in my PMDG . I was also running Rex essential one drive textures and same time Rex textures with soft clouds and both are for the same purpose. When I minimized the usage to one program for each concept I did a three hours flight no problem . I will keep testing and update if anything happened. I am not sure how to get the reports from windows I am not that high tech if there is simple steps I can get them and post them Thanks for your help and Happy new year Amr

Bought it after long hesitation and now learning how to setup a flight . I did get the PRO ATC and the PFPX and after learning it is easy to load the route from PFPX into both Pro Atc and FMDG and I am able to load the weather engine in the PMDG from Rex essential one drive so I avoided the ASN for now. Still practicing and reading the manual how to perform a flight . It is little difficult than Airbus but very interesting and a great learning curve . My only problem that prepar3d latest update started to crash on me after doing a 2 hour flight and I am trying to find the best tweaks to avoid that Thanks for everyone input Amr
