I used the whole day to do different things with SU5. I flew in the FBW A320 from LOWI to LGSR. Both Addon airports. Then did some challenges. Then did the flying over Croatia. Everything flawless. I am 100% happy.

Im not quite sure if it was named simobjects tbh. It’s not in the community folder but in the other one parallel to community. I am not on my pc so I can’t look it up atm.

In Germany it’s not a problem to get them - the problem is what you need to pay.

My FBW A32NX works flawless. Installed the Dev version. Make sure to delete all liveries and also under simobjects the fbw folder before installation. Delete all the stuff mentioned on the clean install guide. Turn on Legacy mode for the Input. And you’re good to go in 95% of the cases.

You guys cry about the next update which is months away. Ffs you ain’t even done with crying about this update yet.

Believe it or not. Some time ago someone crashed into my M2. Guess what? The shop fixed it after 1 week and I got over 2000€ on top for the trouble and reduction of value. Hobby or not - it’s a complex piece of Software and it should run on everyone’s machine. I mean. Did you ever have a look at the hardware section in this forum and see how dummies overclock/undervolten their machines? And then they end up here… crying…. Give the guys at Asobo some days to fix their sh*t, go out and have an icecream meanwhile.

SU5 is not even a week old and Avsim is crying like Bill Gates himself broke the engine for the next years to come. Get a life boys.

I just had 3 hours of wonderful flying. I took the A32NX. First I wanted to fly from Munich to Hamburg. But the graphics was so mind blowing good with 60 FPS on ULTRA on my 48‘‘ LG OLED That I leveled off at 3000ft and went slow and low directly to the alps. just wow. I love this sim.

Also in the discord they say you should use the dev version. Especially at the moment with the Update 5.

Let me just say: I love this thread. On the one hand I enjoy the whine about nothing. On the other hand it's nice to see that a lot of people here embrace the new Sim. Sure, MSFS is still work in progress, but even now, with no PMDG, no QW and other high profile addons - I did not touch P3D in 3 months. As soon as PMDG launches the 737 or Fenix launches the A320 (and it lives up to the hype) - I will uninstall P3D and never touch it again.

Only one thing: Some knobs in the A32NX are flickering....

151 GB - after install, only some liveries in Community folder. Standard Edition.

I jumped from ~40 FPS in 4K Ultra to 60 FPS. I love it :-)

My 3080ti was also running full speed, 75 degrees. exited, limited MSFS to 60 FPS in Nvidia Control Panel - problem solved.

Hey, I have a similar system. 5900x, EVGA 3080 ti FTW3, same MOBO as you. The only thing I would upgrade with the spec above is DDR4-3600 instead of 3200. Ryzen makes good use of faster memory. Otherwise - should be ok 😉 4K will be hard but possible....

Enable developer mode - and you will find that you are main thread limited, I can guarantuee you that. I switched last weekend from 6700K to 5900X....

Same here. I switched from an Asus PA328Q 32'' IPS to the LG OLED48CX9LA. What a beast 🙂 120 HZ OLED with G-Sync... downside: You need HDMI 2.1 at your GPU for full glory.

Question - as I only purchased the standard version of MFSF. Is it possible to upgrade to the higher versions and is it worth it? Especially the 787?

I already heard about the Fenix A320. Also, sure, I will always watch PMDG, ORBX, QW etc. very closely as I enjoyed all their P3D stuff 🙂

Hi guys, after many years in P3D and some hold out on MSFS I finally took the switch. I invested quite heavily in a new machine (5900x, 3080 ti, LG OLED48CX) and bought MSFS. I am quite happy with the performance. And the visuals are stunning. Mods I already have: - A32NX - EDDM from the marketplace - Little Nav Map My question: What would you guys recommend for tubeline flying? I am not a GA person, I want to happily travel along at 40.000 feet and enjoy the flight attendants service :-) Thanks in advance and happy flying!

I had Win 10 and P3D on a SATA SSD and afterwards on a Samsung M.2 NVMe SSD. There were no recoginzable differences at all. Not on windows level, not on P3D side.

I don't understand these threads. Thats also why I stay away from here. Some here are very reasonable and deal with the facts. (MSFS great visuals, P3D great aircraft addons etc). I also have both installed, but for what I want (simulating tube flying) P3D is still King of the hill, by miles. And regarding the visuals: If you hand the screenshots in the first post to average joe, he won't be able to tell you which is MSFS and which P3D, because they look both great 😉 And @GSalden post shows again that P3D is not that aweful. TLDR: Stop the hate and enjoy all plattforms for what they can do best.

For me MSFS2020 is still the future and I am "thrilled". I didn't buy it yet. Why? Because I see what MSFS is: A very good plattform for addons (for me as tubeline flyer). GA is already great. As soon as PMDG joins the game - I will happily buy it - together with a 3080 and a 5900X 😉
