Found the solution for the auto throttle switch. Updating to Spad 0.5.1 ( i was using 0.5.0) And assigning the autothrottle switch to a key press instead of a joystick button.

My multimonitor setup is really catered more for realistic procedure flying. In fsx the graphics are maxed but there is no orbx scenery so the performance isnt that bad. IN p3dv4 it definitely improves, but again, no orbx. Im using a gtx 970 for the nvidia surround with three 16:10 monitors in 1680x1050 each and another 7 series nvidia for the other accesory monitors which only carry the 2d panels Tried Daddybooks solution and FSX now doesn´t CTD but three of the displays are not showing a black screen so i cannot move 2d panels to them. His solution only Works in windowed mode which is unacceptable to me.

I really need true fullscreen, i need to overlay some 2d panels oover others.

Ok thanks for that then. In that case he is using multiple views, that is a complete fps killer. With that video it would be a fps killer to open as many views. What i want is just one view for the surround ( 1 ) and the other monitors ( 2,3,4,5 ) to be black to be able to put 2d panels on them

Hi there, i have a simpit that consists of 3 monitors in surround mode with a 5040x1050 resol that counts as one display and 4 other accesory monitors for 2d panels. In total 1 surround display+4 All 7 monitors are connected to 2 Nvidia cards (3+4) With fsx ive had to switch off one of the 4 accesory due to FSX not starting with 5 displays, only with 4 ( 1 surround + 3 accesory) I let it be knowing that in p3dv4 there is no limit and i can have as many monitors as my 2 NVIDIA graphic cards support but selfish developers are not thinking about 2d panel simmers and all the new ac in p3dv4 are releasing without proper sets of 2d panels. (fslabs is the exception ) This forces me to stay in FSX so I was wondering if you guys now if there is way to get rid of this 4 display limit and if this is stil present in ATi cards. Another interested here. Its a shame the PMDG 777 doesnt have a set of 2d panels. At least the overhead and the radio pedestal+ quadrant ( even if the throttle levers dont move )

update: The auto throttle switch button is now fixed updating spad to 0.5.1, I was using 0.5.0 and it was a bug. Fixed with the update and using the keyboard emulating function. For whatever reason the auto throttle switch doesnt function well with the virtual button feature. Screen still doesnt function correctly and by some posts from other users in spad .next fórum doesnt seem likely the screen will work anyway.

Yeah but i dont know if the saitek multi panel will work along spad.next in the flight1 atr and if it doesnt those 25 euros are a waste for me. Considering that they cannot make the panel work in other addons like the fslabs a320

Lol, now the auto throttle switch is not detected in any way. Im gonna have to budge and go for spad.next

So after many Reading im stuck trying to assign a macro to the knobs sdo i can control addon complex AC like the flight1atr. I have installed spad 0.50.1 + fsuipc registered. when i go into fsx and fsuipc: Buttons and switches, it wont detect the multipanel knob. After Reading the internet i realice i could go back to spad and change it so as to appear as a joystick. In that case fsuipc will now detect the knob, and creating a macro in the same tab as button and switches im able to créate the macro but the window of the saitek panel is frozen at 99000 feet with the alt button illuminated. If i go back to the fsuipc offset button option the window Works but the rotary knob wont change the altitude in fsx ( although it Works and i try ) but fsuipc wont detect it as joystick and therefore cant configure a macro for it. Any ideas? Thanks.

If i completely migrate to p3dv4 ill go to windows10 ( even though i hate the built in spyware from Microsoft ) But i still use Fsx because there is no ATR for P3d

Another user with same issue. Almost every flight on takeoff forces just dissapear and three disconnects and connects of the fs forcé sometimes fixes it. It also sometimes dissapear when lading in the ils dropping the gear. I tried with two different MSFF2 one grey buttons and other red. On FSX/ FSX steam edition and and in demo área in P3dv4.0 with different aircraft and it happens in every case. Im leaning towards the issue being direct x since it doesnt happen so often if AS16 isnt used Also according to these fórums: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2888743&postcount=8 Directx is problematic

Its a shame how developers in their latest products except FSLABS and others have forgotten about us 2d panel simmers. Is it really that hard and time consuming to code a set of overhead/capt dash, quadrant,pedestal and radios into the plane?? And for those of you who are ready to scream "VC! VC!" you need to understand that in our multimonitor setups ( 7 monitors in my case ) we try to build something similar to a homecockpit ( in an affordable way ) and a VC is a step backwards in realism. it is sad that big latest products like the 747 QOFTS and the Maddog dont come with proper 2d panels. If Mods need to close the thread please go ahead and delete it entirely. But at least i can give a big shoutout to FSlabs and companies of the like that consider 2d panels

It doesnt if you increase the size, and your comparison with a plane is ludicruous, ( and also wrong since there are planes reaching almost Mach 7 ) because you cant make a plane with engines that use more power due to size, you can though make a pc fast enough with the appropiate size and electric consumption. ( that is of course if you really want to , which is not the case with INTEL ) AAaaaaah, so now its not the laws of physics but the market. That is actually more correct on your part. Nevertheless that is not what the market wants. That is what Intel wants because they dont want to spend the money in investigation and better fabrication.

THANK YOU!! At last someone says it as it is. The industry ( and the world in many regards ) has gone backwards and processors should be now in the 8 GHz mark, wether you agree or not with multicore perf.

Same problem here with two different sticks. I also contacted the autor and the same result, useless. Truth is his code is just not very good and when other addons that use simconnect are in play the program has problems. Overall i wouldn´t reccomend this program and it also cannot reproduce stab trim like in a 737 so it is only usefull if you fly light planes.

And thanks again Charlie, your tip Works kindof, i have problems with the seconds panel digital displays. They only show as pop ups.

The reason for this is because im running a multimonitor setup and i want my dad to have his own instruments without having him look all the way to my monitor, he has his own. Im trying this in flight1 atr and the plane will deselect capt main 2d instruments when fós are selected.

So some months ago tinkering with the wilco 737 300 i was able to repeat the main 2d panel and have two of the same at the same time. I dont remeber how i did it but in other aircraft im trying nothing i do seems to work. Do you guys know how to achieve this, ive tried copying the same window number and all the code lines but nothing. Only 1 pops up.

I agree with you. I much prefer old regular spad 0.5 to spad.next which is even payware. it doesnt even have the option for adf1 in upper and af2 in lower. As far as drivers im doing ok with Logitech drivers and p3dv4 + pmdg 737 ngx according to this solution:
