yeah, thats the issues I am currently experiencing. Been smooth ride thus far though.

Still retracts. Might give me some input as to where to look? Seems its sim issues since all planes are affected.

That is correct sir, but havent used them since they retract by themselfs.

Hellu to you all! I have a problem when extending flaps. Before I go further into the issue, I have tried resetting everything to default, tried both flightstick + Keyboard with no use. Now, when pressing the assigned and default keys for Incrementally extending the flaps, I see that they do in fact extend... but retract as soon as I lift my finger from the buttons/keys. Can anyone think of anything that might be wrong? Best regards, Drago

Couldnt agree more With you chap. Its been a couple of months while me both having P3D and Xplane. Xplane beats P3D on the vfr level by far, while p3d is better with regards to big tins and ifr flying in general. Its up to each user to decide what fits them. Thing is, as you said , I've probably spent a mere 1.000 Dollars on addons only for p3d while as little as 100-200 in xplane addons. Still satisfied!

I would like to give a big shoutout to Dimitri Ntistis for his extraordinary help in guiding me safely down to LGIO in what one would call nothing less than extraordinary conditions to fly in. My flight started of well at Skiathos, some clouds around but no biggy... once around 40 nm east of LGIO, I went in full IMC with major turbulance and major winds of up to 30-40 kts with lightning. As you might imagine, it wouldnt be a biggy if I haven't picked C-47 to fly in... which comes without auto pilot. So there I was, drifting though the wind like a plastic bag with Athens Radar being my eyes and only hope for survival. With my constant updrafts and downdrafts, and a bit of side toss - he upheld his patience for me and guided me down safely.... Even with the passangers puking around, a safe landing is better than no landing at all! This was by far the most difficult landing I've ever had to make. I have w7 on my macihine and I wont be upgrading anytime soon. Been windows 10 user (laptop) since it rolled out, biggest issue for me is the backwards compitability of w10. Even emulators didnt work for me running some games and some hardware,

Anyone having layering problems, I have isolated the core conflict of the said scenery. Disabeling the ORBX!VECTOR_AEC (I think thats how its called) will resolve this issue. It is located just above default scenery and terrain.

Ive bought UK2000 VFR and amoung evey other purchase.

IF he is going to develop for X-plane, I do not expect of them to have as large price pots as they have regarding P3D/FSX. No way I am paying that much for something you get almost by default. Agreed with Goran.

U have not wasted your money mate. Thin of X-plane 11 as of having beta stage for approx 1 year; the full verison will be released soon ofc. but it will still be buggy - thus the inofficial 1 year rule (for myself at least.) Make sure you give X-plane time and I am sure you will like it! Be sure to try X-plane 10 as well! Its wonderful and it will show you how it looks like when the sim is fully optimised! (which x11 is not yet!)

I am not going to upgrade to V4 for a couple of years due to having payed really a wide set of addons already Have 5 different sims, it will hold me entertained !

I am just asking why even have the PC overclocked in the first place? I mean, I OC'd my PC to 4.6 once just to see what the fuss was all about (did it manually by the book), I mean the difference was negligble.
