  1. In wich p3d folder is orbx installing the textures?
  2. Changed last week from 4.4 to 4.5 and can't feel any difference in flight behavior!
  3. The upgrade to the pro version (about 25 bucks) is absolutely worth it imo. My favorite additions are: COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZABLE FAILURE SYSTEM 4x SMOOTHER CONTROLS WORKING CIRCUIT BREAKERS SIMULATION
  4. I have the same problem. Till now i always started the engines with the Engine Setup "Ready for Taxi". As son as i hit the Engine Start Button from CaD the "rap dance" begins. From that moment on nothing can bring P3D v4.4 back to normal, no aircraft reload nor aircraft change. P3D has to be restarted to stop the "dance". Whierd 😟
  5. Welcome to the Next Generation! TrueEarth GB South for P3Dv4 I had such great expectations...
  6. I just moved the six 3DM-Files with p51m001 and p51p000 in their names to a separate folder, because +51-001 +51+000 is the London-Area (figured out with Ortho4XP (for X-Plane)) I hope i am right, looks good so far...
  7. I use SimStarter NG, so it's not a big deal to create several profiles. But i normaly use only one setting in P3D to fly over different regions. I found my best settings in v4.4 for all my payware airports and sceneries (even with DD's Seattle or NY). TE GB is the only one that stepped out of line.
  8. No, i am still on 4.4. Normaly i am a "update-junkie" but with 4.5 i could hold myself back (luckily) PS: I can not imagine how bad it must be with the 4.5 fps issue 😬
  9. D a m n, i should have read this topic earlier, befor i purchased TE GB South. I'm a real ORBX fan and i own TE Netherland and tought, that TE GB is build the same way (or even better because newer). But the first load at London Airport took 10 Minutes and it was no joy flying over London with 7 FPS. I am very disapointed and again, if i had read this topic earlier i would not have bought it. Now i have to play around with the TE GB settings and deactivate several things to make it flyable?! Or just erase and forgett it. I don't change all my hard-won P3D settings just for one scenery. Anyone interested in buying TE GB South, almost new, hardly used...
  10. First of all i am totaly impressed that Alabeo/Carenado can develop an airplane not only good looking but with above average system deep. Beside the PC12 (with all its mods) the Eagle C421 is now my favorit from A/C. Pros: The sound is amazing and IMO one of the best out of the box. Engine start and panning around the Airplane is such a soundpleasure. I am not a real pilot but with the "advanced physics" by Andi it brings so much fun flying the Golden Eagle. Like i sad, good looking with great system variety. They paid attation to details (taxi light pans, working cabin signs and clock, etc) Contras: No user manual for all the switches, gauges and systems! Even freeware-airplans have a manual! VC panel lights are not seperatly switchable. To read the gauges at night you have to light up the hole cabin! That bothers me most. Issues: The "AL421fuel_pump.wav" is missing in the sound-folder so i copied a file from one of my other airplanes into the folder. The "cold and dark" and "ready for taxi" start option lets miss many settings. The "StartWindowsAircraft.xml" file has so many wrong and useless entries (like PA44 or Malibu) so i corrected it to make it a little better functioning. The gauge "M877 Chronometer" is poorly modeled, so i corrected the look and made "LT" 24hrs and "FT" starting with 00:00 (instead of lokal time !!!). In this context i also made the cabin clock 24hrs. The gauge "Shadin Avionics DIGIFLO" is poorly modeled and the switches and mode-selections are messed up. I corrected it for myselfe so it works now (not totally realistic but) better. BTW i can not understand the developers! If they coded it one time correctly, they can use the gauge in all there planes and they never have to worry about it again. With Bert's solution in his first post (Title "Yaw Damper") the yaw-damper-switch is now working. I'm not sure if the weather-radar works properly. I had in rainy-conditions no radar reflection and in best-weather-conditions i had one! (under observation 😉 The gauge-reflections on the VC right hand side are a little heavy so i customized a few textures to my liking. My conclusion: Not perfect but one of the best plane implementation from Alabeo/Carenado by now IMHO. I do not regret the purchase in any way and can really recommend this plane. One little step to get closer to A2A or Milviz... Best regards Raller
  11. The Carenado sales strategy is: sell and forget. The reason why the PC12 is one of the best Carenado airplanes is because of Bert and a few other talented enthusiasts how made this encreatable mods. Don't expect an usefull answer from the Carenado support. The standard reply is: Thank you for your feedback, we are going to check it and include on a future version if a fix is needed as this is the first ticket we received with this issue. So if you live long enough to wait for an update... 😕

    EHSI Update

    Excellent work, thank you...
  13. Hello Paul, i tried it and unfortunately it makes no difference. Set Auto Zoom Max below 100nm and the map still flips between NORTH UP and TRACK UP (above my set value of 100nm)
  14. Hi, i noticed a little issue. In the Map-Setup i set ORIANTATION=TRACK UP and AUTO NORTH UP=100NM. When i follow a track, range below 100NM the Map is ok and shows TRACK UP. but with ranges above 100NM the map begins to flip between NORTH UP and TRACK UP and so it is constant reloading the map and doesn't stop doing this until i change the range back below 100NM. Maybe Sean can take a look at it. Best regards Raller
  15. Noticed the same, quite tricky to taxi at strong winds...
  16. I didn't made myself clear, that's what i meant. Thank you very much for the update...
  17. Hi Oliver, is it possible, that the settings be remembered? Every time i make a new start of P3D, the settings go back to default! Thanks for your Flashlight and best regards Raller
  18. Hello Mike, do you realy have a Monitor that has a factory-resolution of 2560 x 1440? Or do you have a 4K Monitor and downsized the resolution to 2560 x 1440? Because if you don't have the default factory-resolution adjusted, the Monitor must rendering the resolution and that causes a little blur!
  19. Hello, the "Aerosoft A318-A321 Pro MCDU" has now 3 Displays: 1 Left MCDU 2 Right MCDU 3 Options and Settings MCDU Is it possible to show the 3rd MCDU on my Tablet? Best Regards Raller
  20. That would be very very nice and helpful. And i guess a version change from 1.052 to 1.053 can't be that extensive...
  21. Ok, danke Rudi. This is my first GA airplane with a glass cockpit and I already love the Vertx Diamond. I enjoy it to learn how to operate the G1000 and the hole aircraft. Thanks to the Vertx team, the developers and the beta testers, outstanding work.
  22. Hello, i have a question about the G1000: on the WPT Info Page no runway numbers are shown under the RUNWAYS section i can change the runways, but the length and width infos are always the same and don't change?! is there no way to show the taxiways? isn't the RANGE knob up down left right animated Regards Raller
