Hi A32xx, Yes I only have one active AF2_EHAM_01.bgl AFCAD, I checked just now, what is Jim Vile's Approach fix ? I moved the Aerosoft Mega Airport Amsterdam Folders, above the FS Global Special Edition Folders in the Scenery Library And obviously keeping them, in the same priority order, and that didn't make any difference unfortunately.

Hi A32xx, I allready have my NL2000V3se EHAM and EHLW (Leeuwarden) AFCAD Files in that folder. And that worked before for the previous Floating AI Aircraft problem, but even though they are there, the floating AI Aircraft on Landing has come back. Since installing FS Global Special Edition. Do you mean I should copy, the Aerosoft Mega Airport EHAM AFCAD File to that folder ?

Hi There, I installed FS Global Special Edition recently in my FS2004. And I tried AI Aircraft plane spotting, at my Payware Aerosoft Mega Airport (Amsterdam Schipol) this afternoon, and now landing AI Aircraft land there, but with the wheels slightly above the ground rather than touching the tarmac. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem ? Any help would be appreciated. Regards Eddie

Hi sascha, I have tried other settings in my fs9.CFG File this evening. Again other recommended Settings found here on Avsim.com, but I am not getting the maximum quality possible, I don't think. No better than before, I am going to email Justflight tomorrow, and ask them what settings they recommend in the fs9.CFG File for FS2004, for using with the Software. I must be able to somehow, get the maximum possible quality, given my new graphics card, and PC performance profile, i.e. Quad Core Processor etc. Regards Eddie

Hi sascha, I altered the MipBias to higher settings in FS2004, but shimmering on the objects was a problem. The 4 setting seems the best so far, below 4, the textures are too blurry. I did alter some settings, in my fs9.CFG again, based on some more info I found last night. Hi Sascha, I have created a myconfig.bat File, and it works many thanks, for your excellent instructions. I now run FS2004 with an Unlimited FPS, after going to that recommended Website I mentioned. And there has been more improvement, in the Justflight and NL2000V3se Photographic Scenery quality. I also ran FS2004, in 1280x1024x32 Screen resolution today. Great quality, but it hurt my eyes a bit, so I may go to a lower screen resolution. Regards Eddie

Hi there, Could someone please tell me the names, of all the default .bgl Files in the Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery Folder ? I.e. the Folder where the FS2004 AI Traffic Files go. I think I may have accidentely changed the name of a file or two before, and just want to double check the names of the default Files. Hi sascha, I altered my fs9.cfg Settings, to the ones you kindly suggested I should use. And there has been a significant improvement, in the quality of the Justflight Photographic Scenery, and NL2000V3se Scenery too in my FS2004. More detailed crisper textures, at the 1500 Feet optimum height, more consistent too. It is still not perfect, I would like to get the quality shown, in the photographs on the back of the Justflight Photographic Scenery CD cases. I am going to look, at the FS2004 tips and tricks website, recommended on this thread by someone. But many many thanks once again for your help, very much appreciated. How do you create a batch routine, for the fs9.cfg File ? Eddie

Hi Guys, I have had the Nvidia GeForce GT 710 Graphics Card installed. I ran FS2004 again today, and the photographic Scenery, still doesn't look much better !? It must be capable of displaying the Maximum quality, for the Justflight England and Wales Photographic Sceneries considering the year they were made. Could someone tell me what settings I should have in FS2004. I.e. the Display section + Hardware etc in combination with the Graphics card, I have set AF in the Nvidia Control Panel to X 16, but to no of avail. I am not sure what combination of settings I should have and values etc you see. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Eddie

There is only 1 Freeware Brussels International Airport, I have found on the internet so far. Which I already have, very good it is too, by Robert Buysen. So I presume it is the same one, originally for download on the beluxvacc.org Website. Also I have found an Antwerp Airport, here on Avsim.com. So I presume, the download will also be for the same Antwerp Scenery on beluxvacc.org. And I have found a fairly recent Charleroi Airport (Brussels South) from 2010. Might even be better than the one, originally available for download on beluxvacc.org ? Thanks for you replies guys, it's much appreciated. Downloading those 2 now ))

I went to download, some Freeware Airport Sceneries, from the website, beluxvacc.org. After reading Freeware Airport recomendations, on this Forum for Antwerp and Brussels South etc. But when I download them, it says the .zip file is corrupt, and or can't be opened or something like that. Do you have to be subscribed to the website, to be able to download them properly ? I have tried different methods, of downloading i.e save target as, open File etc, and the problem remains. Any help and info would be appreciated. Eddie

Many thanks A32xx for your reply to my post, it's very much appreciated. That's brilliant, I am so glad FS2004 chooses, the most detailed Terrain Mesh, it makes things so much easier for me ! How good is FS Global Special Edition ? Does it enable the true shape of particular Mountains, Forrest's etc around the world to be shown ?

Also I have the excellent Freeware Scenery Package, NL2000V3se (Holland). And that comes with Terrain Mesh. Will that Terrain Mesh, clash with the FS Global Special Edition Terrain Mesh ? I could disable the NL2000V3se Terrain Mesh. But I am not sure if this will affect, the quality of the NL2000V3se Scenery. Once FS Global Special Edition, is installed in my FS2004 !? Eddie

Hi there, I recently purchased, FS Global Special Edition. I also have Justflight's 4 Volumes of Photographic Scenery for England and Wales for FS2004. I am currently, waiting on a new Nvidia Graphics Card being installed, in my Quad Core Intel I5 Computer. But when it is, which Terrain Mesh would be more realistic, for England And Wales, for installation in FS2004 ? the ones, which come with the, Justflight Photographic Scenery Volumes 1-4 or the Terrain Mesh, from the FS Global Special Edition ? Hi sascha, Many thanks, for your reply to my Post, it's very much appreciated. I have just checked the line texture_max_load= in my FS2004 FS9.cfg file. And it is allready set to 1024. The Intel HD Graphics Card I have, must surely be capable of displaying, all the Justflight Photographic Scenery. To the highest detail in FS2004, being a new generation graphics card. 13 years old these packages are as I have said ! Do you know, of any other things that might be causing my problem ?
